Ordered ahead and picked up dinner for my husband’s birthday. Everything was bagged and ready at exactly the right time. We Loved the broccoli chicken and Pad See ew – both delicious and would definitely order again! The exterior is deceiving by the way – interior bar and dining area is lovely. Definitely plan to return for a dine-in experience.

I found out that this place is brewing their own beer a month or two ago and I discovered that they offer one pint of beer for $6 and the second is $3. Unfortunately for me, I ordered a flight of four beers which I’m estimating to be 6 ounces each. The flight is $18! Boy, did I ever make a mistake. I’ve eaten here before and thoroughly enjoyed the food.

We ordered take out for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their food. I got the pineapple fried rice with chicken and it was probably the best fried rice I have had. It has a lot of curry to boost the flavor. The steamed dumplings and crab Rangoon were tasty as well. Portions are HUGE. I got 3 meals out of my rice. Other got pad Thai and loved it too. Can’t wait to try it again.

I had my daughter order for dinner the, Beef Noodles
Ramen noodle tossed with carrot, scallions,
and grounded ginger sauce.
It was not fresh, looked and tasted reheated. It looked nothing like the photo.
She ordered something else and she said her dish was not freshly made either. Neither was worth what we paid. I was very disappointed as well this was my only meal that day.

I wish I could say that I took pictures of the food, but I didn’t. I tried 3 appetizers and 3 entrees from the menu and none disappointed. The service staff were attentive and helpful and the restaurant atmosphere well inviting, clean, and not too loud. I look forward to returning to this location!

From the outside, the Thai Basil Restaurant looks like a small restaurant. As I entered, I was surprised at how large the interior was. There is a med sized seating area to the right, but you look left, and it’s a large dining hall. Large enough for large gatherings if desired or medium party. Both dining areas are comfortable. The servicing staff provided great customer service and frequently asked if we needed
anything. Water glass kept full, and food was great. They also have brewing area for craft beers. I am happy to have my dinner here and will return to friendly service.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. It’s a little dark, but there’s enough light to see. The lunch menu is good, with curries and pad Thai. I had the sweet and sour chicken (so-so) and veggie rolls (very good). My wife had the Amazing Pram and she said it was good, but it needed more seasoning. The waitress was very attentive and our total for 3 meals and drinks was $55. There is plenty of parking, and they accept both credit cards and cash.

We have been a loyal customer for this restaurant. We have spent over $1,600 mainly on their delicious eggrolls, wonton soup and chicken fried rice.. We do that because we order every week. Today we went to place an order and they did not want to take it without a credit card. When my husband went to pick up his order like he has for years, They only then made the order. They criticized him for not ordering using the online app. They said they make a lot of food for people and get ripped off. He kindly asked, what about the people who have been with you all along? They responded, They don’t have time to track that.
What a great opportunity for us to learn how to make Thai food at home. We will never return to this restaurant and I will not be surprised when they go out of business. Horrible service and business model for long time customers. The food has always been good. I will not slant them there. But because of this incident, we will never call them again. I kid you not, my husband offered to speak to the manager and give him our home address and information so that he never had to worry. They had no interest.
And when I say that we spent 1600 in the last 12 months, we have been going to them for years. And typically we order sushi, which is a lot more than wonton soup and eggrolls. I wish them luck with their new clientele because it will not be us.
Lucky for us, we do cook well. More fortunate is that there is a Thai restaurant on every corner of this beautiful city.

Absolutely delicious! Thai Basil on West Bay Drive is hands down one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish bursts with authentic flavor — you can really taste the love and care that goes into the cooking. The staff is friendly, attentive, and make you feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and clean, perfect for both dine-in or takeout.

If you love Thai food, you must try their Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Coconut Soup — each one is perfection. I’ve been here multiple times, and it’s consistently amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for real, quality Thai cuisine right here in Largo!

First time ever coming to this establishment and it’s deceiving!!! The inside is absolutely huge, they bought the location next door and expanded into it. Giving their footprint more room. The older part of the restaurant is that, traditionally decorated with an old date night type vibe. The new part is modern and sleek, brighter and has a sushi bar. There is a distillery in the back of that part but I didn’t ask if they used it actively or not. The menus are overwhelming, there was one inside the table, one on a stand on the table, one huge book with a leaflet inside and 2 additional leaflets as well. The food was wonderful. We got chicken yellow curry and pad Thai. Both were great portions for the price. We also got a sushi roll, the whatever roll, while a bit pricey it was phenomenal! The drinks are canned at $2.50 each and I will definitely get water next time. It’s a bit shocking that there is a distillery in the building but not a soda machine; but they are clearly successful as the place was very busy for late on a weekday!
