Went in after work to grab subs because I didn’t feel like cooking. The patron in front of me was somewhat difficult but I think Jaime (the wonderful young man serving her) was kind and respectful. She tried ordering her subs in the same manner you would order at a pizza/hoagie shop so she was flustered by his questions because what she was ordering and what she actually wanted did not line up. She then decided it might be a language barrier. Mind you, he spoke perfect English. Not even an accent. She tried using expired coupons by saying someone told her they were good for 30 days after the expiration date. It was insane. Normally I would have left because waiting a half hour for two subs to even get started would be kind of annoying. But I stayed because I needed to let this young man know that he was doing a great job and that I saw him and he mattered. Good luck to you Jaime. Never let anyone dim your light.

I got an email today stating that if you order thru the app, you get $1.00 off. So, since I hadn’t had Subway for awhile, I decided to order. I place my order and go to the store. I walk to the cash register and stand in front of the clerk, who doesn’t ever see me because he is too busy texting. I knock on the counter, he looks up, I tell him I’m there for my order, and he says” Oh, it didn’t print because my machine is out of paper, what do you want?” So, I have to go through the order again, with a less than enthusiastic clerk. I said that I did not get my $1.00 off and he told me it wasn’t a problem, he could take care of it. He finished my sandwich, didn’t take care of my discount and sent me on my way. The sandwich was mediocre, at best. This used to be a great store, but now, I would not recommend it!!! I only gave it one star because I had to.

Friendly young lady prepared me a most delicious Mediterranean chicken salad. Thanks for not skimping on my allergy relief (jalapeños)!!!
*UPDATED 9 years later… the slug behind the counter, told me “he was still working on it” while he collected lids and things and mumbled. What a shame no one wants to actually physically move these days. I hope the young lady who ordered this hoagie is satisfied, because I didn’t see any gloves go on his hand at all. If you are looking to continue to be in a good mood on a Sunday morning, do not stop at this gas station for Subway. The gentleman at the gas station counter was just fine.

The “man” likes to say the tuna isn’t real tuna. I lived through the dolphin in tuna frenzy, I’m sure I’ve eaten a lot of tuna that isn’t tuna. All I know is it’s freaking delicious and I’m going to keep eating it

Service was good in telling me that price of the soda would be lower with the meal than from the cooler.

You would figure at these troubling times (COVID), if you touch cloths you would change your gloves when making food . But not here, on top of that there training another member. Wow. Won’t be coming here anymore.
