Pasta was disappointing, going by the reviews i was expecting great fresh pasta (like we’d had in Italy and some restaurants in UK before) one pasta dish wasn’t heated properly and both of them didn’t taste as good as expected. Tiramisu was bad. Atmosphere was amazing. The toilet didn’t latch.

Visited tonight with family. Food was authentic and delicious. Pasta all homemade. The staff were friendly and attentive. All course were yummy. A really lovely relaxed vibe so lucky to have such good food on my doorstep.

We were visiting from London and had a fantastic meal here with friends. It’s honestly one of the best Italian meals I’ve had in a long time. The chef clearly takes great pride in the food and the staff were warm, attentive and welcoming.
The menu is small, curated and traditional, with clearly fresh, high-quality ingredients. I had a beautifully fresh Caprese salad, followed by a melt-in-your-mouth lasagna, and finished with a tiramisu that was absolutely sublime. The wines paired perfectly throughout the meal.
A special recommendation: order a portion of the biscotti and dip them in a wine of your choice – perfect end to the meal!
All in all, an excellent experience. Highly recommended for a relaxed dinner with friends or a romantic evening with a partner. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.

We had a lovely evening, family gathering in a sociable, casual setting. Small menu but excellent food, not your typical Italian offering, La Trattoria is something different. Not our first visit, definitely not our last!

Wow!!! Phenomenal meal tonight, we attended for the Valentine’s Special Menu, as seen in the photographs. 100% hand-made authentic Italian dining experience. And it was absolutely outstanding. Blown away by both the quantity and quality of the food cuisine. Chef Lorenzo served a 10/10 meal, and the waitress Emily provided impeccable service to an almost full restaurant. Couldn’t wait to get home tonight and share my opinion with you guys, probably one of the best Italian meals we’ve ever had, and certainly up there with the best meals ever! Please book your seats now, I promise you will not regret it. 5 stars all day long. Thanks for having us!!

The appetizer platter was really good.

A very good Italian restaurant with a short menu including vegetarian options. Remember to ask for the specials. The Polpette starter was great and almost a main. The pasta special was spaghetti bolognese, again really good. Everything is made on the premises including the pasta. The wine list is short, but the house is perfectly good. Good music with an extensive vinyl collection. No frills, but great value for money for high quality Italian food.

We ask our server what was her favorite? She said the Lasagna! We ordered, it was out of this world. Every bite that hit our palate’s was sumptuous
Most importantly meeting the chef and his very precious assistant (his wife) made the experience the best place we ate visiting UK for a week London to Margate to Dover, back to Margate.
10 days so we wanted to finish with Lorenzo Lasagna but we will go home with memory and our palates desiring.
