My recent visit to Via Del Rio Restaurant Tavern Billiard was an absolute pleasure, and I’m thrilled to share my experience. Passing through the area with my partner, we decided to stop for a bite, and it turned out to be a truly great choice.
From the moment we walked in, the restaurant and bar impressed us with how impeccably clean it was – a detail that always stands out. The two ladies working were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, making us feel completely at ease. Their warm demeanor truly contributed to the welcoming atmosphere.
For our meal, I opted for the steak sandwich, while my partner chose the Cuban sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious. You could tell the food was prepared with care and authenticity. A special shout-out to Ms. Brenda, who, as we learned, went into the kitchen to prepare some fresh, authentic dishes – a true testament to their dedication! The beer was ice-cold and perfectly refreshing after a day of travel.
Beyond the fantastic food and drink, the vibe was just right. The Latino ambiance, combined with the billiards tables, created a lively yet comfortable space perfect for unwinding. It’s truly a cool place to meet and have fun. I wholeheartedly recommend Via Del Rio to anyone traveling through or residing in the area; it’s a gem you shouldn’t miss.

Passing through while visiting my husband and I stopped here for a bite to eat. Absolutely a great choice. Restaurant and bar was so clean. The two ladies working were very friendly and helpful with our language barrier. I had the steak sandwich and my husband had the Cuban sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious!!
Ms.Brenda went back into the kitchen and prepared some fresh authentic food!! Beer was ice and cold. Atmosphere was very welcoming. I recommend anyone traveling or in this area to please try!!

Unfortunately I had a quick bad experience in this establishment. Arrived with my daughter (5 year old) while her mom stayed at a local tattoo shop. Young lady asked if we needed help and was very professional, I mentioned that I would be staying briefly as all we wanted was for my daughter to grab a quick bite while I practiced my billiard skills. While waiting for the table to open up, an older gentle man approached me(possibly owner or manager) and told me that kids were not allowed in the billiard area, I asked if she can stay outside the area, very close to the table, he said no; I then proceeded in asking if I could stay in general, he also said no-so basically I was not allowed. In my head I was bothered. How can a business function this way? They really need to make it more kid friendly, site appeared nice. One new customer lost due to nonsense…POOR
