Wow is this good! Been along time since I had chinese like this . Great service and amazing food that stayed crispy till we got home. You must try the cheese Rangoon’s, so so good. Chicken wings amazing, cashew chicken perfectly cooked, fried rice was awesome, and they give you very generous portions. Our families new favorite spot.

WOW! I was instantly impressed by the reusable insulated bags in which our food was delivered. The food is fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked. The broccoli is perfectly al dente and beef on a stick is the best I have had since I was a child! To top it off, they noticed they forgot one of our dishes and arranged to have it delivered by a second driver before we even did!

My mother and I had a fantastic dining experience at China 8 on Friday. Located on 441 in the Hobby Lobby shopping center, this restaurant truly stands out. We ordered the lunch special, bourbon chicken with fried rice and crispy egg rolls, and it was absolutely delicious.
Alice, one of the owners, provided exceptional service with a warm smile that made our meal even better. When the food arrived, the portion sizes were impressive, and Peter, the chef and owner, came out to check on us. We told him that his food is among the best Chinese cuisine we’ve ever had in Lake County.
He even treated us to some spring rolls and wontons, which were out of this world! The wontons were the best I’ve ever tasted. I highly recommend this clean and inviting restaurant to anyone looking for outstanding Chinese food. Thank you, Peter and Alice, for a delightful lunch—we will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing experience tried them for the first time last night! The food was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can really tell a lot of care goes into each dish. Everything looked just as good as it tasted. They gave me 5 WHOLE chicken wings which you never see anymore. This place definitely stands out, and I’ll be coming back again for sure m new Chinese restaurant!

Every time I eat from here, I like it even more. This time I chose to dine-in, instead of take-out, as I usually do, because my mother was with me, and was too hungry to wait until we got home. Peter, the owner, treated us like family and royalty at the same time.
The food was so fresh and delicious, as it always is, but even better because we started eating it immediately after it was served. They make the best shrimp with mixed vegetables and peppers steak, plus their shrimp and cabbage egg rolls are the best in town.
When Peter saw how tired my mother looked, after her medical appointment, he was so kind to serve us some of their delicious egg white cloud soup (egg drop soup), which was a perfectly delicious and light way to break our fast, since we hadn’t eaten anything all day and it was almost 3pm. He also served us a sample of his aromatic edible flower tea, which was also very generous and kind of him.
I think I will start dining in, instead of taking it to go, from now on. The place is very clean and the atmosphere/ decoration is very inviting, in spite of the small space, with only a few tables.
I’ll start coming here more often than ever before, after this experience. Thanks again and best wishes.

Above and beyond service, the owner Peter ended up personally replacing my food after I was accidentally given the wrong order. It was my fault not to check my order but I was in a hurry and it was busy. I called the restaurant once I got home and Peter was extremely apologetic having realized the mistake already. There is no question that China 8 has more integrity and desire to give the best service and good food than any place I’ve eaten at in years. Thank you China 8 and thank you Peter!

Went to China 8 in Mt Dora for the first time. As a NY native, I have been trying to find a Chinese restaurant that was as good as the food I am used to. I can honestly say I found it. We tried the General Tso, the Singapore rice noodle and egg rolls. They were all excellent. Next we will try the egg foo young, BBQ ribs and chicken chow fun….stay tuned
