Fantastic (ACTUALLY) authentic Mexican food. Flavors and dishes remind me of being in Mexico while visiting family. Good portion sizes. None of that nonsense American Mexican food that’s become so popular nowadays. Bottled Coca-Cola imported from Mexico. service was fast and friendly. Will definitely stop here again.

Place looks like it is in a former Burger King from 1985. The staff were really welcoming, and I enjoyed the food. Me & the wife ordered two California burritos and added shrimp to them. I highly recommend that.

Staff/owners are wonderful people and very courteous and helpful.
I have never had a bad dining experience. The Alfonso’s burrito will feed three easily!
Their breakfast burritos are also worth a try.

As someone who grew up in Southern California, there is one thing that I absolutely love and that my friends is a beautiful thing called carne asada fries.
Let me tell you, these guys at Alfonso’s know what’s UP. It is like I’m back home in the SGV. Dear God, just thinking about eating this dish brings my heart so much warmth.

When I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA, there was a small restaurant called Albertos that sold carne asada burritos that
were just awesome.
So, I tried the carne asada burrito at Alfonso’s and it was very good. Pretty large, so have a big appetite or split it. Seemed that the tortilla was fresh made. Refried beans were delicious.

I saw a clip on FB & thought “OMG! those burritos are huge & look delicious!” This restaurant sits inside an old Burger King & has almost no atmosphere (boring). The food was good but was drowned in sauce which made the bottom of the burrito soggy. The taste was good but nothing to go back again over & over again. I had the shredded beef burrito.

Really great tasting food. I ordered the super nachos and the portion was huge. I didn’t even get half of it down. And they actually have a hot salsa that was very tasty. The service was quick and pleasant. There is a drive thru. I highly recommend this place for delicious Mexican food.

Alfonso’s Taco Shop was a great experience for a birthday celebration . We had never been here before and didn’t know what to expect. We had a party of 7 people walk in and order separate orders. The food was prepared very quickly and the food portions were amazing. We could have easily ordered one meal to split. I got the Quesaberrio burrito with steak. The steak was tender and inside had a nice sour cream and Guacamole spread that was amazing. The prices were pretty affordable. We will definitely be back to try this restaurant again.
