It’s a hidden gem. I didn’t expect that high quality food and drinks from a place like this, to be honest, as it’s not much entertained. But, I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re around. Everything we had was delicious. And the service was great.

My wife and I ate here last evening. We had a great experience. Our server, Dutchie (sp?), was fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, helpful and everything was timely.
To eat I most enjoyed the bacon wrapped dates, bone in ribeye, and brussel sprouts. All were prepared to perfection. Also pictured are the fried egg + cavier, mac and cheese, and of course french fries. All of these were on point.
To drink we thoroughly enjoyed the Paloma and Old Fashioned.
We finished off dinner with the hot chocolate ice cream Sammy which was a great way to end our meal.
Would definitely go back!

Overall, the experience was underwhelming. The food was just OK at best—not bad, but nothing remarkable that stood out. Given that the prices are extremely high, I expected an exceptional culinary experience, but it simply didn’t deliver. For the cost, the restaurant should offer dishes that are creative, flavorful, and memorable, yet I left feeling like the meal was average. While the atmosphere was fine, I can’t justify the price for what is ultimately just “okay” food. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re prepared to pay a premium without the wow factor.

This was an absolutely disappointing and frustrating experience. My friends were out of town and staying at the Luxor, which had been a terrible experience and they were comped money for a meal due to the atrocious condition of their room. We went out with the goal of spending the whole comp in one go, and landed upon this restaurant. What a mistake. We walked up to the host stand and told the woman working there we would like a table for three. She told us that she would “put us down for a table,” spent a few minutes pondering something in front of her, then suddenly beckoned us back into the restaurant. We were seated near the waiter’s station, which wasn’t a problem but only makes the situation more frustrating. Our server greeted us and asked if we were ready quickly after we were seated. We were able to order drinks and weren’t quite ready to order food when she returned, to which she seemed to be annoyed by. She returned and we ordered our food, with her again seeming annoyed whenever my heavily pregnant friend had questions, which she had due to the fact that she is having difficulty dealing with certain smells and tastes and she wanted to be sure she was ordering food that she could actually eat. The food was brought out fairly quickly, and most of it was fairly good. The margarita pizza was a bit disappointing, as it was more tomato paste and less fresh tomatoes, so it was just ok. The real problem was came in when my friend wanted to order a soda. She attempted to get attention from several people as they walked by us, and no matter how many times any of the three of us tried to get anyone’s attention, they simply looked away, avoiding all eye contact. I even verbally said, “Excuse me!” loudly enough to be heard by the man who was refilling waters, who ran past our table each and every time he was near, and we noticed that the other tables all seemed to be getting attentive service. Interestingly enough, while we were the only table who seemed to be being ignored, we were also the only table with a black man at it. This continued another few minutes before my friend went looking for a manager, who dismissed her while offering us a free dessert, which we did not take advantage of, choosing to go elsewhere due to feeling ignored and under-served. What sucks is that my pregnant friend very much enjoyed the food that she ordered, and her husband enjoyed his burger, even if he felt as though it was medium rare rather than medium as he ordered, and they were planning on using the entire remainders f the comp as a tip, but then didn’t as a result of the treatment we received.

Started with appetizers! The hummus and pita was top notch! The honey bread had a little kick to it, but still good. Definitely go with the Hummus! The filet mignon (medium) was delicious! It was an easy clean plate award! My husband got the chicken and mother in law got the salmon. They both said they enjoyed their meals and would get them again!
The service was AMAZING! Dutch was our server and he was very knowledgeable and timely! I would recommend asking to sit at the back of the restaurant (to see outside and see the beautiful outdoor scenery).
I drink a lot of water and my cup was never empty! Anyone passing by would top you off with water. Great teamwork and atmosphere!

we didn’t have plans for dinner this night and chose this restaurant as their menu looked unique. We were able to sit at the bar and service was quick. Another couple came in and said they had to hurry to a show and their server was great and they got their food in plenty of time and he even gave them their drinks to go. We got drinks and started with the scotch egg. We had never had one before but had wanted to try it and it was good. Definitely a different flavor but with the meat, egg and sauce all in one bite, it worked. I got the BLT salad with a side of truffle potatoes. The salad was large and great. The potatoes were smooth and had lots of truffle. My husband had the rabbit risotto and we were surprised at how good it was. The sauce added so much flavor and the rabbit was really good.
Overall, we enjoyed our food and quick service. We would go again if we stay at Mandalay or W again.

Quick and attentive service — I was pleasantly surprised by how fast they replaced the cocktail that came with lipstick on the glass and didn’t charge for it, that’s a solid +1. The food was well-prepared, especially the rabbit, which I really enjoyed. Overall, a positive experience — I’d rate it 4 out of 5.

Can’t quite give it 5 stars for the price. The food was good, drinks were good, the atmosphere was very good, with lots of cool decor and things to look at. We got a lot of small plates to try different things and the only one that I thought was absolutely delicious was the little sushi cones. They were so creative and had a great texture and flavor. All in all, a pretty good experience and I don’t regret the choice to go there. With SO many options in town, I’m not sure I’d choose it again.
