I’ve been going to Bellini’s for over 20 years. I understand it’s now under new management. It’s varied and well optioned menu is the same, but the dining room has been received a ‘freshening’. The wait staff remains friendly and the food continues to be delicious. I hope Bellini’s continues to be successful for another many years!!

Leaving a review is something that I never usually do however after a planned event to celebrate a very important milestone for my 50th birthday and the poor customer service I received I felt this is needed to make people aware before planning ANYTHING or eating at this establishment. I have been to Bellini’s before for dinner as well as utilizing them for catering and never experienced the rude, dismissive service as I did on the night of my event on Saturday 2/21/2026. While I heard the restaurant is under new ownership may explain the poor service we encountered that made me very uncomfortable including my guest many who left the event early because of how they were treated by the manager Terese and her staff hosting the party. I am writing this not only to express the poor service that I received for an event that I paid almost 2K but to make other’s aware before thinking of going to this establishment. I myself felt like my event was additionally rushed whereas food was removed off the tables if a guest got up and being asked multiple times to take plates and the rude tone used by Terese and her staff to guest when asked for a container to take home remaining food from their PAID plate NOT the buffet station. Terese was blatantly out right RUDE and somewhat hostile to the point where she became argumentative with a guest. What was planned to be a beautiful occasion with family and friends turned out to be ONE OF THE WORST experience’s that I have EVER received at ANY FOOD ESTABLISHMENT! I am very saddened how my guest were treated again to the point where a few left early for the way they were treated and spoken to by Terese. I hope the new ownership takes this matter very serious with re-training staff on etiquette and customer service and possibly seeking new management given the substandard and unacceptable service any paying customer should ever receive. I will NOT ever return back to this establishment given the rude, poor service that I myself received as well as my guest. Would give a rating of 0/5 STARS however providing a 1/5 which is NOT accurate as you can’t post review without a rating.

Loved every bite at this warm welcoming restaraunt. Real caring staff and incredible food with generous portions. We have easily two meals with our leftovers! Loved the sole almandine- Will return for sure!!

The sweetest and most kind people. Our server (didn’t get her name but she had glasses) was so attentive and kind! And there were 15 of us! The breads and garlic knots kept coming.. our busser Alex was always checking in on us as well. The food was so fresh, delicious and honestly very very filling! Definitely will be back and will recommend!

Attended my best friend’s 50th bday dinner at this establishment, was not impressed at all! The service was terrible! The manager/ waitress named Theresa was very very rude to guess, while people were still eating she would keep asking are you done and if there was no response she would just take your plate. It’s so much more to complain about (attitudes from other staff as well) No one should EVER especially when your celebrating someone’s milestone with family and friends feel uncomfortable even discriminated against because that’s how the staff made the entire room feel! I do not recommend this establishment nor will I/We be returning!!!!

There’s a reason why Bellini’s has been a staple in North Haven for decades! They do it right here – classic, delicious Italian dishes with friendly service. They did some renovations recently, and the dining room is bright and inviting. I love their freshly baked garlic knots that come in their bread basket, and the homemade creamy garlic salad dressing is not to be missed! Delicious marinara sauce, and make sure to save room for their homemade desserts!

My first visit. The food was excellent. Everything we ordered was hot and delicious. Prices are reasonable. I found the service a little aloof, like we were annoying them. And it was slow. Nice if you have an afternoon but we were there 2 hours just for lunch.

I have been here several times and I must say I can not complain about anything especially the welcoming service and great personality of the workers. We have come here for two family birthday parties. For both my brother and grandmother I had the lamb over mashed potatoes which is in the picture and my brothers cake is from mozzicatos in wallingford. It’s easy for someone with a walker to come in here. Bathrooms are clean and they have a separate banquet room as well as a bar area. The food is absolutely delicious and you can call and place a reservation ahead of time. I would recommend this place to anyone and keep in mind that they just fully renovated the interior as well. No complaints at all absolutely wonderful experience.

I’m very disappointed with our experience at Bellini’s while trying to plan a birthday celebration. The manager, Theresa, was extremely difficult to work with regarding accommodations and was short and unwelcoming from the start. During the event, several of our guests were spoken to in a rude and dismissive manner.

What was most concerning was the tone and treatment we received, which felt different and uncomfortable in a way that raised concerns about bias. A celebration should feel welcoming and respectful for everyone, and unfortunately that was not our experience.

I hope ownership looks into this and focuses on improving customer service and creating a more inclusive, respectful environment for all guests.

I attended a party in the banquet room here for my friends 50th birthday celebration my 3 stars is for the food, unfortunately the service gets NO Stars…. service was terrible, I have never felt so uncomfortable not only for myself but EVERYONE in that room. (we all felt it) Teresa was RUDE, dismissive and very unprofessional, she had NO accountability for removing full plates off the table while people were still eating and her response was you can go up and make another plate, every five minutes she was asking to take your plate she made you feel rushed/uncomfortable and her tone was very condescending, she was acting like WE were inconveniencing her every time someone asked for something. I would not recommend/return to Bellini’s based on this experience.
