It has been 4 years since dining at KFC. I was in the mood for fried chicken. This was the closest to our home and it was dinner time. We ordered the 6 piece bucket with 4 individual sides and 4 biscuits to go. The food was presented to us in a pizza style box which was different but ok, whatever. 13 minutes back to the house. Made a plate of food and noticed the biscuits were undercooked and doughy. The chicken, dark meat and white meat was dry, overcooked and very salty with a weird sour flavor. Of all the sides the only one I would try again is the coleslaw. With all the chicken joints available within 15 minutes of my home I guess I won’t be back to KFC for another 4 years or more, if ever.

I love Kentucky Fried Chicken, since we don’t have one in Leavenworth Kansas anymore I make that drive to Bonner Springs to get my fix. The Chicken Pot Pie OMG is so good I had to go get me one today and of course my crispy chicken thighs. So good.

I would never choose this location to eat at. They didn’t even give me my whole order. I had got chicken strips that was hard as a rock. The biscuit was hard as a rock. The food was so chewy it was unedible when I tried to let them know they didn’t give me my complete order they never refunded me never gave me what I was supposed to have. They refused to answer their phone. You have to literally call corporate to even try to get your money back and like I said I still never receive a refund. The food is unedible. This is the worst KFC I’ve ever been to. If I could give it zero Stars I definitely would

Literally the worst KFC I have ever had. Husband just came back to our hotel with an order of one chicken thigh, potato wedges, and a KFC bowl. Change the grease!!! No flavor. Gray meat. Dark brown. Disgusting. I actually threw it up.

25.99 basket with severely overcooked chicken that legs were as thick as my thumb. Barely edible. Came with bucket of chicken, mashed potatoes and a huge thing of cheese sauce lol. Also got the 10.99 fingers and they were also very overcooked and smaller than dill pickles. If given choice in future of foraging berries or KFC to survive, I would pick the berries. It’s sad because this used to be a good place to eat. We will never go back to KFC and hopefully they make some management changes to make it a decent place to eat again or just to stay open.

I could have overlooked the two men in the kitchen screaming at each other or the girl at the counter not knowing the difference between original or extra crispy when looking at it, but then to pay extra for an all white meat chicken bucket and get four chicken breasts from the chicken sandwiches instead of actual chicken breasts thrown into the bucket was the final straw. There were no bones in the chicken breasts…..did you think we wouldn’t notice?? And we waited 20 minutes so they could make fresh chicken!! This restaurant does not care what it serves its customers.

I went in and to order my food. The manager, who was acting as the cashier Mr. Roberts came over to get my order. I said I wanted the pot. Pie combo I wanted the famous bowl and a sign of corn, and he walks off after ringing me up. I pay for it and I stood there. Waiting for my drink, but he never gave me my drink. And I was wondering why he didn’t say anything about my drink or anything. Why he just walked off so I reached off the counter, grabbed my own drink. Then, I go and get my drink and everything. And I started reading the limited. The promo for the pot pie That’s in the lobby. And it says, if you up large your drink, you can get the pie paupers= and a side. And so I was like, wait a minute, why didn’t he say anything about that? So when he came to give me my food, I was like, can I see my receipt? So I was looking at it, and I go. I go wait a minute, did you ring me up for a meal? And the and then robbers come over there very confrontational. He came over there. He goes, what’s going on? And I was like, I was like, I thought I ordered the meal. But anyways, I have a drink here, and he goes, yeah, you’re not supposed to have that drink. And I was like, oh okay, well, that’s not what I’m arguing. I’m arguing the fact that I asked for a meal. And I didn’t get one I go. So I want the meal out here. That’s in the lobby and so and then we could add the corn to it. It wouldn’t be. The a side item and you know, that seems like a better deal. And he goes, oh, do you get a side item? You don’t get a side item. The side items are the paupers= and it’s like, no, that’s not what it says over here. And I was like, I was like, so I want to do the meal, and he was like, that would be 8, something you would owe. And I said, no, would you just go ahead? And just refund me and we’ll just rering it back up. You know so that you know it’s correct. I don’t want you doing it in your head. And he goes, I’m not doing it in my head. And I was like, how are you coming up with $8? You’re, you’re just guessing a number. I go I don’t see the math. I was like, you know what, never mind. Just ring me up a drink, just go ahead and charge me for this drink. Because I asked for the drink and you didn’t ring me up a drink? So just ring me up this drink and I’ll i’ll just go because I have trust issues and you’re not doing it properly and that worries me. So you know, I’m not gonna just give you $8. And we’re gonna call it good. So the service there is not great.

I decided our family meal for Christmas eve would be KFC. I placed an order online at 11 am to be picked up at 4 pm same day. We arrived at about 3:55, waited in the car until 4, and then went in.

When we (me, my girlfriend, and our 4 year old daughter) walked in, no one said hello or greeted us in any way. Our order was not ready as it was supposed to be, so we stood up front and waited. The total wait was about 10 minutes, not that big of a deal considering the food was fresh.

While i made a pit stop to the bathroom, my girlfriend overheard the manager chewing out one of the employees, who appeared to have not done her job before getting ready to leave. She proceeded to “fill” our half gallon drinks and then left.

The drinks were not full at all, and i have pictures attached proving we were shorted. One of the other issues is that the manager placed the order in the “pick-up” window, and then walked away. He didn’t say a word or acknowledge that we were standing there waiting, nor did he apologize about the extra wait.

On top of the lack if full drinks, we also were given 4 out of 8 RAW biscuits. These biscuits were so underdone I could hear Gordon Ramsay screaming in the distance. I have also attached pictures for proof.

Finally, we were not given any sort of honey, butter, or utensils to go with the meal. That is totally forgivable, but a head’s up wouldve been nice.

Overall I’m giving this particular KFC (14 N 130th, Bonner Springs, KS) a 2 out of 5. Luckily everything else was as good as one can expect from KFC. I will NOT be returning to this location in the future due to lack of customer service, lack of etiquette, and lack of care for serving fully cooked food.

The guy working the window is pleasant. But, the wait time is ridiculous. Waiting over 20 minutes in a drive thru. For two meals…

Came today around 3pm for a quick chicken sandwich. Received my order quickly. Just recommend the young lady working drive thru to work on customer service. Speak to customers when spoken too.

Drive thru order a little before 7pm. Missing my side of Mashed Potatoes. I didn’t check assuming its correct. Later realized I will check my order before leaving next time. I don’t like paying for something I don’t receive.

Came to visit twice since my last review, much better experience. Faster service with more food items available. Much better communication on the items, that’s not avaliable.

Recently came 8/22/2022 I will say the workers are hardworking. Arrived about 15 minutes before 7pm. Ordered the Mac and cheese bowl they were out of Biscuits. Took a long time waiting in line and still had to pull to the side after paying. The drive thru worker should have told me before payment I would need to wait even longer. The bowl was okay, not worth waiting over 15 minutes between waiting in line, ordering and waiting again after payment.

The drive thru worker over talk you. Take a second let the customer speak. Also make sure you’re specific when ordering or you order will be wrong. Check your order before leaving the restaurant. The food ok not the best for KFC.
