In the valley you have Taco Palenque which is a a fast food Mexican place. Think of Taco Cabana but authentic. Then they have Palenque Grill which is much nicer. A place to celebrate a birthday, date night, etc. Now there is Casa Palenque which is somewhere in between. Definitely more casual, but still good quality with a moderate price point.
Panchos with fajitas were delicious with a nice flavorful meat. The chips are nice and thick, but crispy. I ordered a small bowl of fideo because I can never pass it up. Good quality and taste all around.
Service was attentive, yet fell apart with a long wait for my check. Even after my plate was cleared. All in all a good option in a town filled with Mexican food choices.

The place looks really nice .. the plates they have on the tables when you arrive are dirty full of dust. Food looks tasty. Some of it on the menu only lol disappointing. I orered the birria tacos. No flavor tortilla was very soggy. They are those store bought tortillas that have a strong flavor of being premade. For the price I don’t recommend.. sorry

Food is great, I’ve been there several times, only thing is that if u order an extra taco or enchilada they charge you more than what the actual plate cost, for example the birria tacos are around 15$ we wanted to add 3 extra ones to the plate and they charged $22.50, the upcharge makes no sense. Other than that the food was very good. The interaction with the manager about the price discrepancy is why I gave them such a low rating.

Had my first meal after a surgery at the nearby hospital. It was a great meal at a fair price with excellent service.
But I thought I’d left a bag behind; I was still groggy so it was possible. When I called to inquire the manager (Patricia, I think?) took my information and was going to review security footage to try to help me! She was so kind and understanding, it helped me think through and retrace my steps and I ended up finding my bag!

This place is very good!! The food is delicious!! Anything we have ordered has been great! From fajita/parrilladas, mole enchiladas, to grilled fish with veggies, it’s all good!! The nopalitos are great! The atmosphere is also very nice and clean! The servers are very attentive and really on it! Great place!! Highly recommend!!

Finally decided to give this place a try after my boyfriend would rave about the meats and they did not disappoint! We got the parrillada for two and we were given the option to pick our meats. They were all so flavorful and they came with plenty of tortillas and sides, like fresh avocado, a variety of delicious salsas, and a few quesadillas in the parillada as well.
My son got chicken strips and even those were so tender and tasty. They did charge for his kids cups though; heads up.
The service was outstanding too. He made sure our waters were always full, offered us a refill on our chips and beans, and was always prompt and polite.
We ended off dinner with the buñuelo with ice cream and it was the perfect. Made fresh, warm and crispy with vanilla bean ice cream. A phenomenal way to end the night.

We ended up going Christmas Eve. Food was ok. Margarita had too much syrup. Appreciated special plate request. Although, I remember food being 5 out of 5. Restrooms definitely need attention. Locks don’t work and no paper towels. Waitress lingers right next to you upon tip prompt after catd payment. Uncomfortable habit.

1st visit to restaurant. Took my mom to lunch. The staff was friendly and attentive. The complimentary beans and chicken were good along with the four different sauces got the appetite going. I had the Enchiladas suizas and my mom chose the Panchos (see pics). Overall good service, good food and good price. Would recommend. Look forward to next visit.

Great service, even with a bit of a language barrier. We taught each other some new words. The food was excellent! He even boxed our leftovers and hung the bag on a special rack so they didn’t sit on the floor or table.
