One of my favorite spots in the area!! The staff is really nice, the treats are very yummy, and it’s perfect when the weather is nice!! There’s no inside seating though, everything is outdoors. So if it’s super hot or raining, eat/drink in your car or at home or something.

This is obviously a popular place as there was a line–though it was also 95 degrees– but not my cup of tea, so to speak. I had the ice cream and the texture was very thick but not in a rich, creamy kind of way but more of an unpleasant cement-y way. It also tasted chemical-y. There was a lot of it even in the small size; half of it ended in the trash can. Maybe the ice is better?

My minion and I jump started our Saturday with some Rita’s and it was so tasty! She ordered the Concrete Chocolate Custard with Oreos and Reeses as her toppings, and I ordered the Lg Swedish Fish Italian Ice. Best decision I’ve made that day!

We always enjoy Rita’s. I appreciate being able to get treats for those with dairy allergies, too. There’s always a good variety of flavors. When we just went, my daughter was given the wrong flavor (which is why I deducted 1 star). The line was too long to try to go back and get it corrected.
*update- we have returned quite a few times, and never had the same mixup. We have had great service, and it is great that there’s ample parking and benches and tables in the back to sit. I also recently tried the frozen coffee, and love it. It is made with cold brew coffee and has a great flavor.

Family favorite! This location generally goes from Spring through late Summer early Fall. Service is usually very good. On weekends and when it is hot out, it can be busy so expect it. Everyone can find something. This time would have been 5 stars but there was a mix up on a flavor. Usually that is not an issue but we have allergies so need to be careful what each one has. The colors are similar so we didn’t notice until after consumption began. Otherwise it was a good visit.

I do like the fact that Rita’s is only open during warm months because Rita’s becomes a summer tradition. It sits in an ample parking lot but keep in mind, this place will be extremely busy during nights and weekends or holidays. But honestly, waiting in line becomes an experience in itself. You are surrounded by happy people eagerly waiting for their ice cream. Dog owners come and you can order soft serve for your dogs. It’s nice waiting in line with a group of friends or family and you are surrounded by joy. Next is the service, the service is great for the most part and you get to wait in front of the register for your food. The lines take a while because they will not take another customer’s order until your order is fulfilled and they can verify that your order is to your liking.

Great summertime treats – not only lots of flavors of Italian Ice, but also soft custard in four flavors, and a few combinations of both. Delicious – even the monthly sugar-free flavor. A wonderful family-friendly place. Open fairly late in the summer. Charming, friendly, quick service.
