This Panera is not very different from others. They typically do a very good job with mobile orders. The one time that my order got taken and they had to remake it, the lady at the window offered me a dessert to make up for it. The coffee is pretty good and I highly recommend the blueberry lemonade! The value duo of a tuna melt and tomato soup was delicious when I got it. I also love the asiago and cinnamon crunch bagels. This morning I ordered the asiago sausage, egg, and cheese bagel. It was alright on its own, but it was MUCH better once I put a little hot sauce on it! I did recently sign up for the unlimited sips club, and what a deal?! First three months free, and a drink every 2 hours. This is such a good pick-me-up for when I’m at work. I can get anything from an iced coffee to an iced herbal tea. I’m very excited about it and I see how it can be addicting.

I was admittedly excited to have another option in the area. This is more expensive than nearby deli style restaurants. I got a summer harvest soup, 1/2 salad, and unsweetened hibiscus tea. They have multiple sweetener options. The meal is the most expensive for soup and salad options for the area however. The soup wasn’t flavorful but did have some vegetables. The service did exceed expectations for UAB. I can’t say choose it over any other food option. They do have lots of selections.

Excellent new addition to the UAB hospital food and drink options. The unlimited coffee subscription makes it so helpful for employees to grab coffee in the morning or for lunch. I also like their food options.

ALERT: ALLERGIES NOTES NOT RESPECTED. Basically, 2/3 times I got something messed up: they don’t care if you select out some options for allergies or if you want only sliced bagels not toasted. FIRST ONE IS DANGEROUS, you can kill people regardless if they work in hospital. I get you are busy but this is terrible for your market, yet people do not have options. You are sad!

Employees not friendly or helpful.
Ordered bagels online, it didn’t ask if I wanted cream cheese, butter, etc and I never seen a place to request any. Was refused one cream cheese for a bagel on a $45 order!! No spoons for our soup, no fork for our salad and no napkins. Not a good online/pickup experience and will not be back.

Ordered a drink because my mothers blood sugar was dangerously low, the person at qc scoffed at us was extremely rude and the fact of it being a medical emergency. Would be more lenient if I didn’t work at one but I also work in a Panera in a different location for a year now. I have been in her exact position multiple times, I had never treated a customer like that no matter what. I’m beyond disappointed

Food is great, pretty fast, clean establishment. 98% of staff are wonderful, kind and professional. The ither 2% are AWFUL; disgusting attitudes, eye rolls, lacks customer service skills and human decency and will take their distaste of the occupation they chose out on customers.
Also; some employees do not wear gloves when preparing food and touch your food with their bare hands.
