really wanted to love this place, but the service made it impossible. On the positive side, the location is unbeatable—you are right on the beach watching the waves roll in while you eat. The food is arguably the best in the area, and the tropical juice was honestly life-changing.
However, the experience was ruined by how non-Portuguese speakers are treated. It was extremely difficult to get attention; multiple servers ignored me to focus entirely on Brazilian groups. My service was incredibly slow, and I watched other tables order the same dishes and get their food much faster than I did.
The final straw was the bill. They added multiple upcharges and fees to convert my payment to dollars—inflating my final bill by over 25%—despite me explicitly saying I wanted to pay in local currency. If you don’t speak Portuguese, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place

Wonderful place with amazing service. Raphi went above and beyond, he offered great menu suggestions and even helped me organize my boat back to Abraão. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Truly a lovely experience!

We found this place when we got stranded due to unexpected rain when we arrived at Abraãozinho. The staff kindly allowed us to use the sheltered seating even before the bar was open. The ceviche was exceptional We heard that the place received gastronomy awards for it for the past few years – it’s a must try. We also had fried fish, but it was a bit dry.
This place has great views ️ I would even consider staying at their hotel next time.

I think it just may have been a weird day for them combined with new staff and just bad luck.
The food was expensive for what it was. We knew it will be pricy like we expected but we didn’t think the food would be really bad.
Probably the worst most chewy calamari I’ve ever had and the saltiest chicken noodle. It was extremely salty and over dressed with the sauce.
Putting the food aside, there was some major attitude from one of the waiters that had asked us to move out of our seat even though we had asked to sit there with another staff and we had gotten the approval. I had told him that we got permission to sit here and we had already ordered, but he then fussed and kept saying you are not allowed to sit here.. so I told him to check with his team cause we were told to sit there.
Just a tip to him, if the customer says that they have gotten the okay to sit there from one of their other staff, perhaps check with your colleagues first before making a fuss out of something and pushing back at a paying customer :).
So combined all and all, the food was not nice at all. The service was really bad. The view and the seating was good. I wouldn’t come back here though… just not worth it.
The manager came and apologized and said he has a new team so that’s literally the only reason why I wouldn’t give them a 1/5.
Perhaps only go for drinks, not food.. and just be cautious with the waiter that has attitude and entitlement.

I’ve just had dinner at this beachfront restaurant on Ilha Grande. It’s on a quiet beach away from the main town, in a corner of paradise. The food was just outstanding, some of the best I’ve had in my two week trip to Brazil. I had the grilled octopus and it was cooked to perfection. The service from Rafa and Laura was exceptional, friendly and professional, they make you feel welcome and looked after! I highly recommend it, to either have dinner or to stay, as it also has lovely rooms.

Mini-resort on a wonderful, secluded beach on Ilha Grande. Great food (get the oysters!!!), amazing service and facilities exceptionally good for a beach club in Brazil. I would come back anytime.

The setting is absolutely stunning and would be worth even on its own! But the food is also delicious, a tropical extravaganza, with so many colours and flavours! The drinks are amazing and the service top notch. I love this place and I go back there whenever I’m in town. It’s one of the best places I’ve ever been!
