We stopped by on a Saturday night. They had a band playing and the place was pretty full. The bartender made great drinks to start with. They have a good selection of bourbon! The food was well above average for bar food. I had a very good slim oak and my wife had a butler burger. Both sandwiches were great! I’ll definitely be back. The only complaint we had was the music was loud, but it was a Saturday night with a live band at 9pm.

The food was excellent. I loved the atmosphere. It wasn’t a typical bar to me. It had a homey feel to it.
I ordered the Billy Butler, my daughter had The Popeye Flatbread, my SIL had the Firecracker burger and my grandson had the grilled cheese/fries…The fries are amazing!
No one at the table was disappointed except my youngest grandson because he’s not old enough to eat food yet, but he had to sit there and smell all the deliciousness
I highly recommend The Oaks Tavern. I will be back!

I recently stopped by the Oak Tavern for lunch, and this place is truly a hidden gem. From the outside, it looks a little rough—you wouldn’t imagine that there would be culinary delights inside. But it just goes to show, you can’t always judge a book by its cover. Once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the clean, well-kept space and the quality of the food.
I ordered the firecracker burger, and it was absolutely fantastic. The patty had stuffed jalapeños, adding the perfect kick. The consistency of the meat was just right—not overworked or underworked—giving it the ideal texture for a burger. The buns were grilled (not just toasted), which added a great touch, and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and juicy without being soggy. The lettuce was crisp and refreshing, and the jalapeños were delicious. All the way around, it was a really well-executed burger.
I wanted to try the Oak Barrels (stuffed tater tots), but the burger was so big that I couldn’t finish both. As someone who travels a lot for work and eats a lot of burgers, this one definitely stood out. The meat was locally sourced from a nearby farm, and you could taste the quality. I really appreciated the fact that the kitchen was visible right in front of the restaurant. It was modern and very clean and well maintained. The staff was magnanimous and welcoming, making the entire experience warm and enjoyable.
This spot is a real gem, and I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area again!

Came here for the first time after a trip to bundy hill, got a burger and fries, the fries were amazing, burger seemed like really good quality, just lacked a little seasoning(there was salt n pepper at the table tho), otherwise very good food, the atmosphere was nice and our waitress was nice. I Would go here again.

Locally-owned and operated. Located in Moscow, Michigan on US12. About 14 different appetizers to start, great cooked to order burgers, wraps, flat breads, entrée, fries, onion rings, jalapeño poppers and more. Full bar with great cocktails. Coke products served here. The server, Kelsey, did a great job. Couldn’t ask for better. We plan to be back again.

This is a great little bar/restaurant with excellent, filling food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. My husband and I both had a good drink and fulfilling meal with leftovers for under $40, including a 20% tip. We will definitely go there again. I hear they have live music on Fridays.
