Service was eh- Flat monotone hellos- goodbye
Small interior but neat and clean- Small food prep area – tight space
Ordered beef shawarma bowl- I am determined to find my NYC Halal Bro cart chicken rice this wasn’t it, but it was still very tasty- The meat was a little tough and dry, but mixed in with the hummus and the tahini sauce-I had hoped that the meat would be shaved off of a large meat skewer (can’t remember what they are called) but I saw him grab a handful of it from a container and tossed it in the pan to reheat which may be why it was a little tough and dry- The rice was seasoned nicely, moist, and delicious- they sauté of the peppers and I think their pickles was in the peppers-I like that they suddenly sliced the peppers and they aren’t huge chunks-I was almost going to ask them to make it without the peppers because I thought they would be chunky- it was $17 but I can get three meals out of it. If my husband shares it with me, then It’s enough for both of us-i’m happy to say they aren’t like regular Middle Eastern restaurants where they give you a pound of rice and then 2 ounces of meat. The ratio to meat was perfect. There was a good amount of Shawarma on the rice. Yes, I definitely still think $17 is too much but that’s what’s happening now in this world. And I’m sure it won’t be long that that’ll be jacked up to $19 or $20. And at that point I won’t be purchasing
A scoop of hummus is included with this and it was very tasty. Smooth and it wasn’t heavily pasty and wasn’t overly flavored of tahini.
I ordered a small side of hummus and was concerned because it was a little bit darker than the hummus that was in the Shawarma bowl and thought maybe it was going to taste too much like tahini paste but it was perfect— not as creamy as I like, but it was very tasty-I usually make my own, but didn’t have any chickpeas at home to whip up a batch-
The brand is the flat pita bread, but it was fresh and had that perfect chew –
I definitely will return. I want to try their Shawarma sandwiches especially the one with saj bread- and the lamb chops, mixed grill- I would definitely also get the Shawarma bowl again-
Mohamed was so nice food is so delicious
The food at Shawarma Co is absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned every time. The portions are generous, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Easily one of the best spots in Livonia for Mediterranean food. Highly recommend if you’re craving shawarma or just want a great meal!”
Also, not sure why the grilled meat is red. I grew up close to Dearborn and have never seen that.
This is not normal!!!
Literally the best shawarma I ever had and one of the worst fries I ever had.
Fries is toooo oily made me sick and ended up throwing up.
Very clean and excellent customer service.
God bless you all
This place seriously has some of the best shawarma I’ve ever had — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and wrapped in warm, fresh bread. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the amazing customer service. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure you’re happy with your meal. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, the experience is always excellent. Highly recommend to anyone craving delicious shawarma and great service!
You must try the Palestine pop!!
Best shawarmas I’ve had in a while.
Saj bread is the best!
We will be ordering again soon
