Unfortunately, my repetitive feedback about low quantity has again fallen on deaf ears. You are looking at a “large” portion of kadhai lamb ordered 2 days ago. The container is more than 25% empty. They have reduced the quantity but charge the same amount. Sad thing is that I am a regular customer and like the dish but was left hungry due to smaller portion.

We’ve dined in and also takeaway, it’s the best Indian restaurant ever, with a good menu, consistently delicious food, lovely ambience, polite n helpful staff, though at times short-handed.
I find the review posted by Yabba six months ago puzzling and very unfair, hence the need for this post. Keep it up n prove them wrong, AJ. ❤️

Ordered uber eats, and the butter chicken is just beyond expectation.
Price is a bit high, but worth it. I ordered medium spicy, and it was very hot but fun to eat. I had half of the dish and started sweeting after dinner lol. The flavours are so rich and complex, I cannot tell what is in the sauce, but it was just so good!
The Pappadums are very thin and crispy, perfect to go with their butter chicken hot sauce. Literally the best butter chicken I have ever had.

We went there for a dinner for two people. Really nice food. We ordered cheese naan. It was really good with lots of cheese. Beef vindaloo was really nice. Chef’s special chicken 65 biryani came with a raita. Food was really tasty and we were full. The food is a little bit pricey though. Anyways worth it. A nice Indian food experience with natural spices and a homemade taste. Nice friendly polite staff always smiling. Nice vibe, quiet environment with soothing light music.

Stumbled on this marvelous little nook by chance..we were looking for an good Indian place for long since we moved to Sydney and were mostly disappointed up till yesterday.. it’s probably the best north Indian I have had in Sydney.. the plaxe gives a very cosy vibe and the staff is really helpful and kind… We had the recommended butter chicken and nimbu Kali mirch gosht and boy was it good ..but the best surprise was their naan. It was so fluffy and fresh we doubled our order ..and ended up overeating.. but it was all worth it.

I’ve been here a few times with my family. The food is always beautiful and delicious. Spicy but not too hot to eat. They’ve always been accommodating for my son 1.5 years old now. The manager is amazing as well. I left his baby fork there a few months ago and when we returned, the manager had kept it and saved it for us when we returned. Will definitely return. Service is beautiful.

Beautiful food, lovely staff, and so nicely decorated. If you’re someone who doesn’t handle spice well, you’re gonna struggle even with the ‘mild’ dishes here especially the mango chicken. But this is my third time coming back despite that so. Their naan is delightful. Sad their butter chicken has cashews which I am deathly allergic to as I love a butter chicken. Love the the letter confetti on the table , it’s fun to make words with lol. Just wish there was more so I can make more words

The tv brought my attention… well in a good way! The high quality films filmed by the drones were amazing gained traction for me, exploring different parts of the country whilst the themed music inundated myself. I felt blessed to have been brought to AJ’s because of its scrumptious meals, not only is the proportion of the servings great, the quality and authenticity was awesome too!
Now, let’s talk about the bathrooms. It has been an issue, so I haven’t been to the bathrooms for a LONG time! I would highly suggest having an upgrade and renovation to the bathrooms as they are quite lacking in greatness. Some people I know of are particularly picky on the quality of bathrooms so ensuring they meet the ‘lavatory’ criteria would certainly need a tick in the box.
Overall, this restaurant is very good and offers of plethora of dishes, and staff are nice and chefs… OF COURSE they are amazing! Personally, AJ’s, in a way, has inspired me to dine in it all the time and VERY frequently!!!
