Fresh, hot and delicious food was delivered via DoorDash and it was amazing. My family and I are going to make this a go to place for Chinese food! Pricing was very reasonable and portions were plenty.

Rant: I don’t mind if food service has to raise prices or if the owners are not able to communicate in English necessarily but, when I go to Egg roll King and the price goes up a dollar a menu item the go back two weeks later and the serving container is small and they give a 2 oz serving cup (not full) with a side of 3 egg rolls I am very disappointed. At least if the price goes up on the order board I can make a decision before I order but to get home with a child size portion for $10 plus $4.50 for egg rolls and a 2oz sauce obtainer with an unsecured lid I’m pretty disappointed. I’m not sure how I’ll communicate this to the owners but maybe the picture will let them see it through the eyes of the patron. What do you think of an adult order in a dish not much bigger than a medium size female hand? Dec. 6, 2024

First and foremost I enjoy riding reviews…. However it saddens me when a mom-and-pop place barely does enough to get by. I ordered the general’s chicken with chow mein and fried wontons. The food was extremely salty and soggy. I came here on a recommendation and was highly disappointed. The front door was very dirty as well as the dining room. To say the least I will not be back.

Food is average. TONS of sodium. Customer service is horrible. I ordered for 6 people. I ASKED for “4 of the Chili Oil Sauce” and he gave me (1). I asked for more because there are 6 or more eating. He gave me side dirty look and gave me ONLY 1 more after asking for 4. Stingy place. Can’t give 2 more little chilis sauce??? They re joke . Horrible customer service.

I order sweet and sour chicken with chow mein noodles and fried rice. The Portion was more than I could eat! the sweet and sour chicken had lots of of chicken in it. The sweet and sour sauce was bland to my taste. and the fried wonton was huge! They were delicious and crunchy which I liked

Yikes the lady taking my order over the phone was disgustingly rude I asked for my total and then said thank you and she hung up on me. The food usually isn’t bad but was definitely disgusting and yuck.

This is by far the WORST EGG ROLL KING IN RENO NV. Seriously. For wontons we got fried chips of some sort. And the chicken curry was seriously ONLY CHOPPED ONIONS like there was probably a tablespoon worth of chicken then a WHOLE styrofoam plate of onions. The noodles from egg roll king are usually amazing these were soggy and flavorless. The egg roll king over by idlewild is definitely where we’re going from now on.

I got the combination Lemmon chicken with pork fried rice. I know you get what you pay for in terms of quality but being cheap and not giving me pork fried rice and getting plain is kinda low, when I paid and didnt get what I asked for.
