Stepping into Waffle House on Monroe Street in Toledo is like encountering the physical manifestation of the American Dream. The amazing food, friendly service, and charming decor blew my expectations out of the water. We drove 1 hour, but I would have driven 2 just for the opportunity to eat half a waffle off the floor. My bacon was cooked to perfection and my waffle was piping hot! But my favorite part of my visit was Monica. So cheerful and on time with everything. She adds all the sparkle to the Waffle House. Her cheerfulness is contagious and put me in a beautiful mood. If you visit this store, definitely ask for Monica. Top Tier service!

The food was great and so was my waitress, Kylie. The only thing I didn’t like was it was a cold day and the air blowing in the restaurant was uncomfortable. But I loved the grits, bacon, blueberry waffles and eggs I had. The ambiance was nice and so was the music.

Today is my birthday. I wanted to celebrate by eating at a Waffle House. I only had to drive 1 /2 hours to get to one. Luckily, it is Waffle House and they are worth the trip. All Star breakfast is delicious as always. The service was very nice, our server was Hailey and she did very well. People were talking and laughing and thoroughly enjoying their meals. I will be back.
