I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered a large plate of oxtails, paid a premium price, and was served only four small pieces of meat. For what I was charged, the portion size was completely unacceptable and felt misleading.
Oxtails are already expensive, but when customers pay extra for a large plate, they expect a reasonable amount of food. This was nowhere near that. There was no effort made to explain the portion or justify the price.
I won’t be returning, and I would advise others to be cautious and ask about portion sizes before ordering to avoid being overcharged.

Ordered the small Oxtail, gave you a good size portion so you won’t leave hungry. Only have 2 pieces that was tough, other than that, great place.

Maybe I just got a bad plate, but I bought the jerk chicken dinner and the chicken was dry, dry, dry. I could barely eat it. I got it to go, so it was too late to say anything. Glad to see they get good reviews because that must mean that the Food is usually good. Customer service was good so I’ll give 2 stars, but pls make sure you dont serve dry chicken.

They have the softest ox tails that I’ve have ever tried. Their rice and peas are pretty good. They give you a black sauce that just takes the flavor to a higher level.

My first time coming I got a small stew chicken plate. Food is decent for the price but nothing over the top. However, I did not like that the cabbage had corn and green beans in it. I never seen authentic Jamaican food made that way! I REALLY DISLIKED the presentation of the food!! They need to do better! They obviously do not take pride in their food and are not very clean! They give a lot of food but LOOK AT THIS PLATE NOW! It just does not look professional! Why is my plate flooded with gravy and all this meat, it is not a good ratio to balance the meal! I also only received 3 scrawny pieces of plantain

The food here is so delicious. I had the jerk shrimp, which was served piping hot and nice and spicy. I loved the spiciness of it! It doesn’t appear that the shrimp is currently in the menu, so it might have been a seasonal dish. Honestly though, I don’t think you can go wrong with whatever you order.

This was my first time visiting, even though I’ve lived in the city for over 12 years. There’s a reason I never stopped by before — the inside just isn’t very inviting. The food came out fast (within about 4 minutes), but the chicken was cold, smelled off, and looked old. I called to give them a heads-up, and the man said it was made that morning — cap. The rice and cabbage were okay, but overall, not a good experience

My go to for Delicious Jamaican Cuisine, my daughter’s absolute favorite. There’s a nice size parking lot to park your vehicle. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. And I’ve been eating here for years. Jerk Chicken, Brown Stew Chicken, Rice & Peas, Cabbage and Plantain’s. You want it they have it!!!! Location in Inglewood, CA.
