Went in and got a meatball sub to go. Cashier was super friendly. Got in and out in about 5 minutes. Got home and opened my box to find not one, but two pickles. Genuinely hope that amazing things come her way, made my day. Would give 6 stars if I could.

We were passing through and decided to stop at Firehouse subs. Horrible mistake. The staff were unfriendly. Then when they could not get our order correct, they refused to help fix it. Pearl, the shift manager, screamed at us. One of the sandwiches they made was a gooey mess drowning in mayonnaise. Do yourself a favor and go to Subway. We have stopped there numerous times when traveling through and have always experienced wonderful service and great food!

Took my kids out to eat. They were patient with my autistic daughter and very helpful. Good food, good people, and a clean restaurant. All the things you need for lunch when it was drizzling rain outside all day.

My first hint should’ve been that you could barely see in the windows, they were so nasty. Get in there there’s stuff all over the floor, it was just dirty. Waited and waited some more and waited even longer and finally somebody took my order. Simple roast beef sub with extra onions, light lettuce and tomatoes with a lot of mayo. Sounds simple right. Evidently not simple enough, I got my sandwich go out to the truck there’s barely any mayo on it and there was six pieces of onion on it. I take it back inside and they tell me they were out of onions?!?! I said OK but it was supposed to be extra mayo too and they didn’t seem to care so I got my money back and walked out and went somewhere else.

My first time trying Firehouse Subs was a complete disaster! Help me understand why the Philly Steak and Cheese was served wet with soggy bread? I’m so disappointed after hearing nothing but great things about the subs, salads, and limeade. I asked for a small and was given a medium, I asked if American cheese was available instead of provolone and was charged extra for monterrey jack. I’m sure it was just a bad experience that hopefully doesn’t happen often but definitely not worth $10

The bread wasn’t fresh. The tuna was meh. The salad was made from the generic shredded sandwhich lettuce all fast food uses. I can’t find any good salads anywhere in town. It was my first time here and I won’t go again. I’ll show website pic vs actual salad below

Mostly just writing this so that someone that can do something about can realize the bollards on the McNeil entrance should be reconsidered after the 231 redesign. If you are going westward towards Firehouse, you have to drive past it and then do a U turn to get to the site. Google maps even think the McNeil entrance makes sense. The extra travel does make me less likely to go here when I just want a meal quick. Overall a good place to get a hot sub, just a bizzare decision with the property that should be reconsidered.

The sandwiches were pretty good but they seemed to have a challenge with the finer details with the kids meals which tends to ruin your meal. We asked for the kids meal not to be toasted or have the meat heated and they did both which also equals melted cheese. When we brought it to their attention they simply took everything off of the toasted bread and put it in un-toasted bread which ultimately made the entire situation worse and we simply ended up throwing the sandwich away and giving her everyone’s pickels for lunch. How hard is it to just remake it correctly? Overall, we are just passing through town, heading back to GA, so it is challenging to get a redo with this meal. Maybe next time…

We ordered the steak and cheese sub, too greasy and mayo making bread soggy. It was pretty bad. Would never order that again. I threw the steak sub away! Couldn’t eat it. The other sub that we got was the Italian sub, it had way too much condiments on it as well making the bread soggy. Again we could not eat it as well. Just seems like the sandwiches were thrown together.

Amazing firehouse subs in Troy. The subs were delicious and tasted fresh. The staff were friendly and the subs were reasonably priced. Restaurant area was clean.
