Fare from Northern Italy is served in a cozy, simply decorated room with a leafy patio on the plaza.

Amazing food, great quality on the meats and sourced ingredients. Live violin music and the occasional opera, from I presume the owner. It was unique and delicious. Our server was amazing as well! Made sure we were well taken care of. I’d recommend the Capriccio Violino, any of the Mistis, and I loved the classical takes on the lasagna. I had the Filetto alla Rossini which was delicious. Well seasoned and balanced. The mango sorbet was 10/10

Amazing! The food, atmosphere, ambiance and service was over the top amazing. The chef came out and seranated a table, there was a violin player who was incredible. The restaurant is very elegant and cozy, and reminiscent of old world dinning. Great time!

Our first time here and we are glad we found this restaurant. To start, the service was spot on the entire meal. The wild game charcuterie was delicious, this was a special. We stayed with the specials for our main course and both were wonderful.
Wine list isn’t overbearing and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!

“A” for effort. Staff was welcoming and respectful.
Food, probably good for this area, but it’s not authentic Italian cuisine.
They are trying.. brava! It’s worth the visit if you’re a local- I’m not. I give it .. 3 Meh’s.

This is our 3rd time visiting and the food was phenomenal! Also found what is now one of our favorite wines (picture attached). I highly recommend Violino to you for a nice romantic dinner. Also got the opportunity to meet the chef so that was an added bonus. He said if it’s not on the menu, just request it and he will do what he can.

I came in on a Saturday not long ago for a special occasion and was pretty disappointed, I have worked in restaurants for many years and this was one of the times where I left satisfied. First starting off me and my significant other came in and was seated at a 4 top in the middle of the restaurant when there were many 2 tops open. Our server was very nice but bugged us a lot to order then after that checked up on us only once after throughout the whole night. My entre portion was very small for 25 dollars super disappointed after seeing the price and expecting a lot more food to eat. My salad was bigger than my entre which is something. A lot or conversing with the managers while telling the servers to do everything instead of taking charge of stuff. Heard many great things before coming in and wish it lived up to the talk. Was expecting a better night.

We finally made it to the best restaurant in Winchester, VA!
So beautiful. Each plate is not only a piece of artwork, but it tastes equally amazing.
The violinist played over the rainbow for us (Judy Garland was my grandma’s favorite actress) and won my heart ☁️❤️.
The artwork that covered the walls was spectacular, making you feel as if you stepped right into Italy itself.
The wine was absolutely delightful.
Joe has been to Italy, and he said that it was the closest he’s had to an Italian experience outside of Italy.
The owners were so nice and they are from Italy too.
Bonus points for the owner telling Joe to take me to Italy .
God, I just love good people & good food.
Their homemade pisachio Gelato is equal to the homemade Gelato that we had for our honeymoon on Marco Island.
I could not ask for a better dinner experience.
5/5 stars

Probably the best restaurant I’ve been to in a very long time. A destination! Small, nicely laid out in three partially separated spaces. Nice wine selection, food is delicious and creative. Violinist plays classical tunes, chef comes out and sings a piece from an opera. Can’t wait to get back.

Fantastic! The staff was very attentive and friendly. Everyone genuinely seemed to enjoy their job. You can definitely tell this establishment values their employees. The violinist was remarkable! She played very well and was so very elegant. The meal was, by far, the best I’ve had in years anywhere that I’ve traveled and definitely the best in Winchester. The kitchen staff, from what I could see, worked well together. They almost appeared to be in a choreographed dance.
The quality of our meal was stellar and the portion size was an extreme value. This chef has definitely won our hearts and taste buds!
Gordon Ramsey watch out!
Thank you so much for a lovely dining experience! We definitely will be back!
