WOW. Jesse and I just had one of the best dining experiences ever at La Fuga. Everything was truly a 10/10 from start to finish.
We ordered the lasagna, butternut squash ravioli, caprese salad, brussels sprouts, fresh bread, and ended the night with the most heavenly tiramisu. Every dish was perfectly seasoned, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. The lasagna and ravioli were absolutely unforgettable — rich, fresh, and cooked to perfection.
The service was impeccable. Our server Daniela was so attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Our water glasses never dipped below half, the timing of each course was perfect, and they even cleaned and refreshed all plates and utensils between courses, which made the whole experience feel extra elevated. Other staff members were also so attentive to us. Amazing experience.
To top it all off, they surprised us with complimentary limoncello shots at the end — the sweetest touch to finish an already perfect meal.
The ambiance is gorgeous, the food is incredible, and the staff truly goes above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back. Highly, highly recommend! ✨

Loved the decor & the choice of poolside or inside seating. Interesting menu with an Italian bent. Everything that we tried was delicious & beautifully prepared.
We shared the yellowfin tuna tartare all & kale salad. And the grilled snapper were superb. My husband really enjoyed the house made cavatelli with squash & fennel. Tiramisu was also very yummy. Service was very professional & attentive. Live

I’m behind on my reviews. My wife and I were visiting Fort Lauderdale, and I had a taste for some Italian food. The food was excellent!! The scallops were perfectly cooked, sweet and succulent. The parsnip it was on was delicious. The bread with the dip is to die for. Olive oil and fresh herbs with warm bread are excellent. My wife enjoyed her pasta. The beef carpaccio was delicious. I could use more capers. The oxtail risotto was okay. Something about the risotto I didn’t like: I think a mushroom risotto will probably go better. It is good. It could be better. Our waiter, Jonathan, made some recommendations. He was excellent and attentive. Matteo, who was assisting, was on it as well. Great duo!! We are outside because it’s nice out. The weather was really good that evening. If you’re in the area, I recommend visiting.

La Fuga was an unexpected and delightful surprise during our short trip to Ft. Lauderdale. We have eaten Italian food in many American cities and in Italy, and we rank La Fuga in our top tier!
We started with aperol spritzes and three sizable arancini, crispy on the outside, savory with short rib and rice on the inside, and the perfect temperature.
We followed it with Lasagne Al Forno, delivered in its own skillet, piping hot, with a beautiful layer of mozzarella atop. It was the most delicious lasagne we have ever experienced. This lasagne was a mixture of perfectly al dente noodles, house made Italian sausage and the just-right amount of sauce. Muah (chef’s kiss)!
We finished the Primi course with a delectable Ricotta Cheesecake with Amarena Cherries and a sweet and very mildly salted graham cracker crust. The cherries were the star of this dish but the crust and cheese cake were strong contenders.
While the meal was a super experience, the ambiance was lovely – we sat under twinkling lights beside the pool near a wide opening leading into the dining room where we could hear live jazz guitar. La Fuga curated each part of this whole experience to leave each visitor, including us, feeling quite special.
Lastly, it is important to mention James, our waiter, and Kevin, his assistant, who provided great service during our meal, as well as Leo, who seated us, checked in on us and followed up after the meal. Leo also pointed us in the direction of the rooftop Escape bar, for an unbeatable view of the intercoastal waterway. You can’t beat this!

This was our first time dining at La Fuga and thoroughly enjoyed it! We were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in the door. We chose the outdoor dining by the pool. It was very peaceful, pretty, and relaxing. Our waiters Jonathan and Daniel were very gracious and helped us make our dinner selections. We ordered the brussel sprouts as an appetizer, and I had the gnocchi and my husband had the veal and potatoes. Everything was delicious! Our waiter brought us limoncello for our after dinner treat and shared with us the process of how they make it. That was pretty cool! We really enjoyed our entire dining experience and will definitely return!

This review is a little delayed, but I’m very happy to now share my experience at La Fuga. I visited Fort Lauderdale for the first time, traveling from Seattle in early to mid September for a work symposium, and stayed an additional 5 nights for vacation with my boyfriend. On September 10th we were happy to find la Fuga online, walkable from our hotel. When we walked in we were greeted by their bartender Steven, who was so kind and friendly, happy we were there. Steven ended up being our server as well. Our dishes were so delicious, and we were having such a great time, we decided we should come back for my boyfriend’s birthday 2 days later. We knew it would be perfect and it was. Steven treated us like friends, and he went out of his way to be our server again. He knew it was my boyfriend Steve’s birthday, and he went above and beyond to make it special. We had their specialty scallops dish that was cooked to perfection, kind of crunchy on the outside but tender on the inside served on a bed of mashed celery … the best scallops we both had ever had! After dinner, Steven brought out champagne, and a chocolate tart topped with raspberries, swirled with “Happy Birthday” chocolate sauce with a candle. See pics. La Fuga is a must if you’re ever visiting Fort Lauderdale or especially if you live there! Best food, best service from the entire team! I wish there was a la Fuga in Seattle!

FANTASTIC restaurant!!! Beautiful ambience…. I’m here now and it is gorgeous weather sitting outside by the pool…. Food is delightful!! Sourdough bread with a wonderful little thing to dip it in… Kale salad was delicious and the gnocchi is an absolute must if you like pesto! Creamy pesto sauce with smoked tomatoes, and pine nuts could not ask for a better dish!! Service was impeccable!!! James was my server and he was great! Very on point from getting me water, to food and wiping my table between courses 🙂

James and Daniel were amazing servers. James explained the entire menu and recommended the best courses to make our meal unforgettable. Try the Old Fashion to wet the palate. Go from there to the Arancini and then the Bolognese. The Tiramisu was awesome. Also ask for wine pairings. These guys know their stuff. Cheers.

Their scallop appetizer is really good. For some reason thought the margarita pizza crust was too salty, almost like they used salt on the pizza paddle instead of corn meal. It was cooked perfectly though. The lobster ravioli was definitely made in house. The proportionality was off though. A bit too much lip compared to center which made it awkward to eat. The filling was watery lobster meat and I couldn’t tell there was ricotta in it at all. The sauce was mildly spiced and good , especially on the bread. Service was attentive at first, but turned into effort to get the check. It seems you’re paid more attention if your bill is high or you are a larger party.
