Steak was melt in the mouth, soup was very spicy but so tasty, seafood cooked perfectly.
Will definitely be back.
The sushi is often too tough so I advise trying other items on the menu.
The service is amazing and the staff are helpful, cheery and always do a great job.
My friend and I went with hopes of a nice meal but this was quickly shot down with a bleak, cold and unfriendly atmosphere, I had booked a table yet there were no preparations and it seems they didn’t even know I had one booked.
The food came quickly but this is the only good thing about it as the steak I ordered was clumsily dished with large chunks of onions and seemed to have no seasoning at all. My friend ordered the chicken yakisoba as it had the same issue of no seasoning and the chicken had freezer burn taste.
To top it off the table which we were seated in was wobbly and even my plate was wobbly, I’d greatly advise to avoid this restaurant.
Hope they had some dessert options too.
We even had to flag down staff just to order drinks because no one bothered to ask. Ironically, the drinks were probably the only decent part of the night.
Then the food arrived. The unmarinated meats looked and tasted anything but fresh, the rice was bland, and the vegetable sushi tasted fishy and stale, which is worrying on every level. For the price we were paying — a premium price tag for what should be a premium experience — the quality was nothing short of bargain-basement.
Downstairs, we felt isolated in a freezing room, and when we informed staff about the temperature, we were met with a rude, dismissive: “What do you want us to do about it?” The lack of basic courtesy was unbelievable.
When we finished, we had to go back upstairs to request the bill because no one checked on us. We explained how poor the experience had been, and rather than apologising or attempting to put things right, staff gave us excuses, muttered under their breath and made it clear we were an inconvenience for daring to complain.
A few hours later, all of us who ate there developed stomach pain — which, given the questionable freshness of the food, is sadly not surprising.
For a restaurant charging premium prices, what we received was shoddy, low-grade, careless service and food quality that felt more like a cheap knockoff of what Korean BBQ should be. I used to love this place, but after this experience, I won’t be returning — and I’d strongly advise others to think twice.
