Greeted with great energy from staff right away. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The server came right away. The food came out quick. Everything tasted great! The staff checked on us frequently to make sure everything was good. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

great service, great atmosphere but the food is god awful. i ordered eggs benedict and they served it with the worst poached eggs i ever seen, they’re practically hard boiled eggs… ontop of that they don’t even toast the english muffins. they try to pass off their hollandaise sauce as authentic but it’s quite literally has the taste and consistency of nacho cheese – not even joking i had to call them and ask if they served cheese sauces and accidentally gave me the cheese sauce instead of hollandaise. i really don’t recommend you come here for eggs benedict. it was honestly the worst i ever had and ive made some pretty botched eggs benedict at home and can even say mine came out better.

We ordered the chicken waffle and the Nantucket Benedict. About 10-15 mins later they told us that they didn’t have the Nantucket . They asked to substitute it for the regular eggs Benedict. That was fine but without the benefit of the menu i didn’t know it had ham slices (more like ham baloney) in it. First, i don’t eat ham (nasty crap). Second, i definitely don’t eat baloney (nastier crap). At this point i didn’t have time to order something else because we were running a little behind already. I pulled it the ham and had a very unsatisfactory Benedict (without the crab).
The chicken waffle is one of my favorite dishes but theirs was just ok.
Coffee and hot chocolate were fantastic – hence the 3 stars!

When I first walked in I was greeted by a woman who I assumed to be a manager or owner,older woman in 50’s. I asked to be seated away from other customers due to it being cold season. She told me they didn’t have enough staff. When I introduced the idea that they could just walk a few feet to another table, she appeared to be upset but walked me to a table in the back. I actually should’ve left then but still stayed. The waitress brought out some water in a glass container with some sort of build up around the top. Eww. So i told her and then just ordered orange juice. After ordering salmon and eggs (see pics) the salmon was not what I expected but also was horrible in taste. I kept that part to myself. However, I tried to get a refill a few times from the waitress who just walked by me at least 2-3 times until I asked another waitress. At that time the original waiter brought it out. Not sure if this happens often or because I was a black woman in a predominantly white establishment. Shoulder shrug. However, I won’t be returning. I actually had high hopes solely based on location.

First time visiting this establishment. We were greeted immediately and seated promptly. Our server, Olivia was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive and most helpful. The food was delicious. We will be visiting again when in town. I totally recommend!

Had breakfast before a special Disney movie event down the road. Was our first time here and decided to try based on the menu. My wife got a cold foam drink with a potatoe and eggs skillet. Our server, James, was great – he noted my wife’s allergies and made sure to check up on her. I ordered regular hot coffee and a decadent waffle with eggs on the side. James came by and chatted with us and cracked a few jokes. Will definitely come back next time we’re around the area again!

The staff made simple mistakes and seemed like they were waiting to be yelled at on a regular basis so it was nothing new; they were shocked when we calmly asked for missing items and didn’t get upset.
The food was bland and disappointing, half our dishes coming out with items missing. Kids waffle with syrup and cookies and cream topping (Oreos and whipped cream) came to the table with no drop and no whipped cream (photo). Waffle was hard outside and raw dough inside, cooked at too high a temperature for too short a time (photo). Kids scrambled eggs with breakfast potatoes and English muffin was brought out with no potatoes and no muffin, we got a plate with just scrambled eggs and had to refer to the menu and ask for the rest (photo). Two types of Benedict ordered, on both the only flavor came from pickled onions. Eating the first few bites and forgetting you did it’s not a good sign for flavor. Breakfast potatoes had even less flavor, exceedingly bland with no seasoning or salt and only lightly cooked to semi-mushy, less like an oven or deep fryer and more like microwaved.
Disappointing, won’t go again.

I’ve been a Turning Point guy for over 20 years. I grew up not far from the original in Little Silver NJ then came the Holmdel location and the rest is history.
We arrived at the Bryn Mawr location just as they opened.
Our server was delightful, engaged, and efficient.
The restaurant was clean and ready for business.
We feasted on all homeruns.
Cannoli Cold Brew was scrummy with a thick float of cannoli cream the perfect touch is all the cold brews are served with a coffee ice cube. The Hotchata was rich, creamy and decadent. The Shakshuka was perfection. Thick & rich tomato base with onions and peppers and 3 perfectly poached eggs floating in that sauce. Toasted bread for dipping and scooping. The Shrimp and Grits was perfectly seasoned and cooked well. The Cannoli Pancake was our shared dessert and was pretty damn good. The pancake and cf brew were both served with a mini cannoli…don’t sleep on these. They were better then many we’ve had from bakeries.
After an absence from visiting Turning Point for absolutely no particular reason…It was good to be back.

I visited the Turning Point of Bryn Mawr on Monday for breakfast/brunch.
I received a warm welcome. The staff were very friendly and professional. They made me feel comfortable and welcomed.
When seated down, they gave me a nice cold water and gave me a moment to decide what I wanted.
I opted for a house blend coffee to drink and the “ Health Freak “ menu option which consisted of a salad of lettuce with lemon salad dressing, egg omelette with zucchini, onions , tomatoes, peppers , mushrooms and chicken sausage to the side. It also included a one medium sized healthy whole wheat pancake.
I really the “ Health Freak” option, it indeed felt very healthy and balanced.
The egg omelette was a delight. The salad dressing on the salad was really nice. I forgot the to ask the waiter for the recipe.
The whole wheat pancake was also tasty and felt healthy indeed.
The Turning Point do offer various of other breakfast/ brunch and lunch option that you discover on their menu.
I will definitely return to the Turning Point again for breakfast or brunch when I’m back in Bryn Mar.
I definitely recommend this breakfast/ brunch eatery.

The server was extremely nice, and the service was quick. However the cold brew we ordered came with cold foam that was curdled and had a weird, semi-solid texture (seen below, it looks like cottage cheese.). We asked to get it remade once, and the same problem persisted. The manager came, and seemed like she didn’t care, then went to the back and seemed to ask someone if “theirs was fine” a few seconds later. The food was ok, but the fact that the cold cream was damn near inedible was insane. A complete waste of time for a restaurant that doesn’t seem to care, however other locations seem not to have this issue.
Edit: After seeing the other reviews, it seems that the manager in question does not care about customer satisfaction. Appalling.
