What a cute little place
Took my family and met my parents here today to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Bob the manager was so friendly and accommodating to help us get a table even though the restaurant was busy. David our server was super pleasant and attentive. I assumed perhaps it was his family’s business by the way he took pride in his work and attending to us but to my surprise it wasn’t.
They even surprised my dad with a round of “Happy Birthday to you” and brought out a big muffin with a candle in it
Definitely would recommend

First time here, tried the Reuben sandwich.
This is as good as it gets, they use the proper bread, fresh. The corned beef is plentiful and cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of dressing and sauerkraut.

Opted for the onion rings as a side, also excellent. Nice sweet batter, cooked perfect!

Service was top notch, my server was always close by and checked on me to make sure everything was good with my meal.

I’ll definitely return, great meal and nice friendly atmosphere.

A rocky start for our party of two. A tech mix up with the ordering system. This eventually brought the friendly, concerned owner to our table with an explanation. End result though we couldn’t stay she had our order put up to go and send us out the door free of charge with a delicious breakfast for each of us.
We told her we would come back and try again as if it was day one all over again very pleasant very nice very good food.

Amazing service, atmosphere and food. Very comfortable inside and the service was great. The servers were very welcoming and the owner also made his way around the restaurant checking on tables and bringing extra coffee as needed. The wait was roughly 45 minutes on a Sunday around 11am, which was great considering the time.

The French toast was fantastic with bananas and a side of sausage and fried eggs. The coffee was also delicious. Definitely worth stopping by for breakfast! Would highly recommend!

Inviting atmosphere, well managed, and well-kept establishment. The food is delicious every single time, so consistency is on point! Very fairly priced.

What an amazing place! Came here from a friend’s suggestion and me as well as my wife loved everything. Ordered a cheese omelet and they mixed both cheeses I love, and she had a tuna melt to die for. Clean food and amazingly clean bathrooms also, a rarity these days. A must stop for anyone driving on Military in Boynton. Thank you to our awesome waitress and all the staff!

The breakfast was delicious, the service with a smile was great, and the overall experience was very good. Parking was a bit full, but why wouldn’t it be with food that good. I’m definitely coming with the whole family next time around!

The Owl Country Grille is a **true local gem** and the kind of place that feels more like a neighborhood gathering spot than just another restaurant. From the moment you walk in, there’s a warm, welcoming energy that’s hard to miss and it’s clear why so many people keep coming back week after week.

**Atmosphere is one of the biggest strengths here.** The décor is cozy, quirky, and charming, with a homey, small-town diner feel that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your meal. It’s the type of place where staff know regulars by name, conversations flow easily between tables, and you genuinely feel like a guest rather than just another customer. Indoor seating is comfortable, and the covered outdoor area is a nice bonus on pleasant mornings.

**The food is consistently very good**, especially for breakfast and brunch. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and most dishes arrive hot and clearly made fresh. Menu favorites include omelets, Eggs Benedict (including creative options like crab cake Benedict), Reuben sandwiches, biscuits with sausage gravy, home fries, and classic comfort-style breakfast plates. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared rather than rushed, and the menu offers enough variety to satisfy both traditional and adventurous eaters.

**Service is usually excellent and personal**, with many servers going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Several staff members are frequently mentioned by name in reviews, which speaks volumes about the connections built here. Owners and managers are often visible on the floor, checking on tables, refilling coffee, and helping wherever needed something that really sets the tone and shows they care deeply about the experience they provide.

That said, where The Owl Country Grille earns **four stars instead of five** is mainly due to **inconsistency during peak times**. On busy weekends, wait times can be long, parking can be tight, and service may feel stretched. While the staff works hard, the restaurant can feel understaffed at times, which occasionally leads to order mix-ups, slower service, or less attention than guests might expect. If you’re patient and understanding, it’s usually worth it but those in a hurry may find it frustrating.

Despite these occasional hiccups, the **overall experience is overwhelmingly positive**. The restaurant is clean (including the bathrooms), well-managed, and clearly loved by the community. It’s not a flashy or upscale spot and it doesn’t try to be but it excels at comfort, connection, and quality food made with care.

**Overall**, The Owl Country Grille is a place you come to relax, enjoy good food, and feel like part of something local and genuine. With a bit more staffing during high-volume times, it could easily earn a fifth star.

I found this awesome cafe on my way back to Miami from Boyton Beach. Gem of a place with whimsical decor. I felt at home just walking towards the door. They have a nice covered outdoor seating area. Once indoors you have the seating option of standard tables, booths and bar. Staff is friendly and very attentive. The day I visited they had great 70’s tunes playing in the background. Plenty on the menu to chose from. I had a fresh and delicious fluffy waffle and Bellini. What I really loved was how welcome I felt. I had to work remotely and I never once had to ask for a coffee refill. Staff made sure I had endless refills until I finished my work. I am looking forward to my next visit.
