Excellent take out seafood and breakfast stop located at the year-round farmers market. They specialize in Benedict’s and fresh baskets of fried goodies, as well as chowder and a couple other breakfast items. We’re particularly fond of the clam strips and maple salmon Benedict, though we do miss the crab cakes.
This place does now take card for a nominal fee, and plenty of seating is available in the commons, though it can get crowded on the weekends especially if there’s live entertainment.

We went here in the summer so it was a lot of fun to sit and eat while listening to music and watching all the market shoppers. The clam chowder and crab melt are amazing! We went back and this time got the salmon Benedict that was also amazing. Can’t wait to go and try something else.

We have been longtime fans of Dingey’s-they are THE place in the Olympia Farmer’s market to get your breakfast. My favorite is the Maple Salmon Benedict (which is PERFECTION-the maple doesn’t overpower the salmon) that comes with the side of potatoes. We are also partial to their chowder and their fish and chips!
Their staff is friendly and professional, and their stand is very lively with crab decorations. They provide condiments and beverages as well. Check them out!
Addition from July 8th, 2023:
Their maple salmon Benedict is still one of the best foods at the market and is my go to. Their clam strips and fries are also a classic.

Omelet was pretty good. English muffin fried in rancid vegetable oil. They forgot the Breakfast potatoes then quickly dunked in deep fryer and served pretty raw . Chowder was decent. Cole slaw fresh but under dressed.

We were visiting Olympia on Friday and arrived at the Farmer’s Market at 1:30 pm. It’s great that there was free parking. This farmers market closes at 3 pm. We ate at Dingey’s and had a little time to go buy items. The food was fresh tasting especially the fish and oysters. The French fries are crispy.

GET THE MAPLE CURED SALMON EGGS BENEDICT. That is all.
You can tell there is thought and care behind the dishes and prep, best home fries (perfect potato pillows?) Were everything, but I could barely fit them in because the benedict was too good to not finish. Also I am still thinking about that hollandaise . Also the strawberry lemonade was FRESH
My wife had the fried oyster omelet and was super happy too.
Thank you for the kind and quick service, area is small so be sure to grab a seat or be down to share you table and make some new friends

While out shopping with some friends, we decided to stop and get some food at the farmer’s market. I felt like seafood and got the Tuna steak with coleslaw. Tasty, filling, and fresh!! Service was fast and friendly. Excited to try more items from their menu.

I got food poisoning for the first time in my life from the cod fish and chips on 10/19. Been having a horrible time for 3 days. Didn’t eat anything else that could’ve caused it, and the fish tasted a little old/stale. Really awful experience

Got the halibut fish & chips…23 bucks and wasn’t great…wound up chugging water a few hours later apparently from all the salt. 1st time trying it, not going back. Burgerville is better.
