Pretty good pizza! Always nice to try a local place. The service is kind and friendly, pizza was out quickly. They do a lot of takeout and pickup, so this isn’t your standard sit down restaurant. We would eat here again, if we were in the area.

Yesterday (12/20/2025) my wife and I were driving around and craved pizza. We were heading west on Stroop towards Marion’s when we came upon this Cassano’s location. We went in & ordered a large (14″) pizza with extra cheese and mushrooms, 1 fountain drink, and a cup for water; dine in. Total $23.88. Pizza came out after the quoted 20-25 minutes. It was lukewarm at best, a disappointing number number of mushrooms, and it was only ~1/4″ thick. It tasted very salty especially on the crust bottom. We’re both 75+ and hate to complain and waste food. This pizza was edible but not enjoyable. We should have complained. No wonder we haven’t patronized Cassano’s for a long while. Very disappointing !

Have had good experiences here in the past, this was not one of them. Pizza wasn’t fully cooked, crust was flimsy and soggy. Sauce was cold even though it had literally just come out of the oven, it should have been piping hot! The bacon chunks were chewy and gross. Overall yuck.

We stopped by for lunch. We ordered from the counter and the pizza came promptly. I thought it was very good. The place is not fancy. There were plenty of seats and the décor was interesting, but more importantly everything was clean.

This has always been, and will always be my favorite pizza. Still tastes good like I remember as a kid. Atmosphere leaves a lot Tobe desired, but I got takeout anyway. Pretty good value for the money.

UPDATE: THE CASSANOS customer service asked for my info and has never got with me.
Talk about bad, inept service. I called the order line and requested to get my order from a different location than the smithville rd store as we’ve had terrible experiences there. i ordered from the Stroop rd. location, showed up when they said it would be ready and proceeded to sit in the dining room for 45 mins while these clowns screwed up my order, not once but twice. I see why there always a totally new manager every time you go to a Cassanos. Ive learned my lesson , ill go elsewhere.

I am from Datyon area and have always loved Cassanos. but moved away years ago. Havent been back to the area for over 6 years but had a family celebration today so had to stop and get Cassanos. We were in Kettering and stopped in for a pizza to eat there and a couple to take home. Have to have left overs. The staff was so nice and friendly. They made sure our to go pizza was ready when we were ready to leave but not setting around for long time. Pizza was amazing and the staff was so great. Highly recommend the Kettering location. Thanks you all working this evening for a wonder experince
