01/08/2026: Went to pickup a pizza to go. Haven’t been here since early 2000’s but my son who’s a senior is obsessed with this place. Told him I’ll buy dinner here. Got the X-Large Renna’s special or something like that. Thought it was pricey but when I got home, I underestimated the value. It’s defined not overpriced and freaking good as hell. Stop eating Little Caesars guys and get a pizza here. Holy cow its good!

I stopped here for dinner after a 12 hour drive and to be honest I was not impressed.
The restaurant is located in a strip center so there’s ample parking and the grounds were well maintained. I was informed upon arrival by the staff that they were doing carry-out only even though I arrived at 8:00 pm and the restaurant doesn’t close till 9:00 pm. Not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to sit at a table and dine after driving all day.
The staff was clean, but offered no greeting upon entering and appeared to lack any enthusiasm (except the cook). While it isn’t mandatory to greet your customers, not doing so does set a tone for the rest of the visit.
The interior is pretty blasé and doesn’t have any charm or individuality that stand out from any other facility. In short, it’s generic, but it was clean which is most important.
I ordered a thin crust cheese pizza and Caesar salad that came out pretty quick and out the door I went. The food made me regret my decision to dine here as the pizza had a strong dried oregano presence and the sauce was unnaturally sweet which makes me believe there is sugar in the pizza sauce. The cheese had little to no stretch and was definitely a mixture. The pizza is also more bar-style pizza vs. a traditional chewy NY style pizza, but the crust did have a decent underside and decent flavor. The Caesar salad was an abomination as it was pure Iceberg lettuce and not the advertised “greens” on the menu. The dressing was a jarred, mass produced creamy Caesar that didn’t have good flavor as were the croutons.
Value wise it’s a little overpriced given the quality of the food, but the portions were sized right for the price point. I can’t recommend this place based on my experience, but they do have many other items on the menu that they might excel at so others may enjoy this place whereas I did not.

My family and I have been coming here for years and have a lot of memories here. Now is time to make some new ones with my toddler. The food is great (for the price), the wait time is reasonable, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The tables are clean, and the beers are reasonably priced, great pizza joints. Thank you, team Renna’s!

Hands down the best pizza I’ve had in Northeast Florida. Crisp crust that’s gotta be folded to eat correctly, that good grease, but not pouring off your slice, and fresh ingredients. That’s just the food! The two women working the counter were wonderful as well and put a smile on my face the moment I walked in (and one of them has only been there two days!!!). Even the kitchen staff is friendly and professional! Don’t be like me and wait forever to come here! I only came for a 2 slice lunch, but it was so good I ordered an XL to bring home for dinner tonight!

My son and I moved from the Bronx 3 years ago. We love pizza! We’ve tried A LOT of pizza shops in Jacksonville; Biggie’s, The Bronx House, Tony D’s, and many more—but Renna’s takes the trophy for the best NYC style pizza in Jacksonville.

Amazing tasting New York Style pizza located in the heart of Mandarin.

Conveniently located in a large and busy shopping plaza near the highway. Plenty of parking nearby. Also lots of seating space in the clean and comfy dining area. Kind and professional staff.

Ordered a 12” vegetable pizza on my visit. Easily can be shared but luckily I did not for this solo visit. 🙂

Nice fresh portions of vegetables, extra cheese and delicious buttery crust. Pizza was baked perfectly!

See y’all soon for another tasty pie that I may not plan on sharing!

Rennas is amazing. We drive 30min just to get the pizza. We were in Japan for the holiday break and when we got home we wanted a good American pizza.
So of course we had to go here.
Highly recommend the pizza!!!

This used to be my favorite pizza, not anymore!
The menu states “slice of pizza….$3.49. Add up to 3 toppings to make your perfect slice!”
I added sausage, green pepper and onion. They charged me for all 3 toppings. One slice of pizza was over $5.50. The green pepper was completely raw and the pizza itself was barely warm (I got it to go).
When I asked about the extra charge, I got a bogus answer that made no sense!!
What a shame!
