MAN BOBS… I can’t say enough good things about Bobs. I met Bob on the road when I had got out of the hospital after going homeless… Bob gave me the hat off his head and the jacket off his back…not only did he give me the tools to get warm he took me to the restaurant to get warm and let me charge my phone. Bobs let me eat here whenever I’ve been down on food Free. Its really tasty food and everyone he has working there are warm and inviting. They do catering as well. Bob always asks me how I’m doing whenever he sees me…Thanksgiving he saw me walking down the road and stopped to ask me! I’m very thankful to Bob and his team Mike one of the cooks is also very inviting and conversational. The prices seem to be good. Like I said I could NOT recommended eating here more…I need to stop writing now God Bless you! Check this place out!

compliments and many guests went back for more. Their signature Lancaster sauce is our favorite to put on the brisket, pulled pork, or chicken and the service and atmosphere there always makes our day or night feel perfect.

We were randomly in Lancaster and needed a place to eat with our family. Glad we stumbled into Bob’s. The food was great, but even better was the extremely gracious staff. They welcomed our family and you could really tell that they were happy we were there and valued our business. All of the food was great and everyone was pleased.

Today was my first time eating at Bob’s, and I was not disappointed! I ordered the Ultimate Brisket Sundae, and it was packed full of flavor! It consists of a layer of sweet corn casserole topped with slow-roasted, smoked beef brisket, sautéed onions, diced tomatoes, Lancaster Smoky-Chili BBQ sauce and BBQ remoulade. Run and get yourself some now!!!

This is not traditional BBQ. They do have a spin on bbq that isn’t bad. The sauces have a good flavor. I had the brisket. It was tender, but there was only a hint of smoke and no smoke ring as you would get in NC, Memphis, Texas, or KC. The mac n cheese was just ok and the hash browns were typical of central Ohio. The sides were generous portions. The Mac n moo was good and the pork sundae was filling. It’s a lot of stuff layered, it was ok but filling. The sliders were shredded mest on a small bun as expected. I most likely will not return. I prefer traditional BBQ with a smoke ring resulting from meats cooked low and slow.

New for us! Hubby brought us here for lunch today. We were greeted with a welcome as we entered. Pete walked us through the menu. He described the food and answered our questions about the food. We both ordered the Bob’s BBQ Monte Cristo, which is a pulled chicken, garlic aioli, sweet barbecue, sauteed onions, and swiss cheese. My sides were the Mac and Cheese and corn casserole while he got the slaw and fries. The sandwich was pretty OMG on the flavor. So many layers hit your palate sequentially, the smokey, tang, sweet and garlic. Chicken very tender. The mac&chz and corn casserole had an underlying hint of sour cream which was good. The slaw was not very sweet but a subtle tang. Overall, definitely tasty, delicious food. This is a must when in Lancaster! We will Definitely be back!!!
