Don’t be put off by the atmosphere. This is a brand new restaurant in a small struggling town. The interior is rustic but clean. But the food is excellent, as good as any I’ve ever had, and the owner waits on you and is friendly . He added little extras , threw in this and that for us. And the prices are reasonable. And it’s only a one minute drive off the Canyonville exit of I-5. Our friends live near here and raved about the place , now so do we!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Taste Restaurant in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. I was staying in the area next to Seven Feathers Casino and was looking for something out of the ordinary. I was lucky to find Indian Taste Restaurant, which is a small, family-run establishment.
When I arrived, it was late and the restauranteur had already left for the evening due to family commitments. However, the staff was very accommodating and got him back in immediately. Even though they didn’t charge me, they started cooking my favorite, difficult to prepare dishes. They even offered me a beer on the house.
The food was absolutely delicious. I had the lamb vindaloo and the chicken tikka masala, and both dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The flavors were complex and authentic, and the food was incredibly flavorful.
I was also impressed with the service. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they went out of their way to make sure that I had a great dining experience.
Overall, I had an amazing dining experience at Indian Taste Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff was very accommodating.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly authentic Indian dining experience.
Special mention: I was particularly impressed by the fact that the staff went out of their way to cook my favorite dishes, even though they were difficult to prepare. This shows that they are passionate about their food and want to provide their customers with the best possible dining experience.

Another authentic cuisine added into the small town and I must say that it’s the best one yet. I’ve tried many Indian restaurants around Oregon, but this place truly serves quality and incredibly tasty food. We ordered the samosas, garlic naan, butter chicken, and saag paneer AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
The service is great, and Raj and staff definitely made the dining experience even better. If you’re ever looking for good food around the area, you must visit this place!

I stayed in Canyonville for a night traveling on the 5. I was excited to see Indian food, but didn’t expect much given the teeny town size (a very cute town worth visiting on its own). I was wrong- this place is incredible. I ordered the dal tadka (spicy), chili naan, and a side of pickle. All were fresh and absolutely perfect. Plus the price was great and the serving size allowed leftovers. If you’re driving on the 5 in Southern Oregon, go out of your way to eat here. Don’t let the tiny pioneer town feel fool you, this place is legit.

What a delight to happen onto this fabulous restaurant. The palak pakora was out of this world!! And the chana masala was also excellent. If you are passing through Canyonville or live nearby, do not miss out on this jewel of an eatery.
I will definitely be back.

Amazing food!
You can have it super mild to spicy!
Extensive vegetarian menu!
However, I prefer the lamb and chicken dishes.
Chicken Tikka Masala is the best with authentic spices. So creamy and delicious.

Food was delicious, the gentleman was pretty nice and attentive. I ordered the chicken tikka and my hubby got the butter chicken both were delicious. The chef also accommodates the menu for my 3 years old son who is extremely picky !! He made him plain rice and steam veggies. He was also generous gave my toddler some crispy bread and a mango juice for free.
Totally recommend this place for both the great service and the tasty food.

Stopped here late at night on the way down I-5, and wow, I did not expect to be this amazed. The family running the restaurant was friendly and kind, our food was out super quick, and we had some of the best Indian food we’ve ever had. I appreciated the plentiful and well-marked vegetarian and vegan options. I hadn’t tried malai kofta before but it’s one of my new favorite dishes. Also, if you ask for spicy you get spicy, mild you get mild. I’ll be recommending this place to everyone I know 🙂

I came here with my family on the way to Seattle and was really impressed by the food. This was probably one of the best tasting Indian food that we had on the West Coast. The owner greeted us and was extremely friendly and accommodating. If you are in the area and want to try amazing Indian food, I would definitely recommend this place
