Universal Experiences
House of Galbi on Ventura Boulevard is one of the most enjoyable all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ experiences I’ve had in the Valley. The restaurant offers several levels to choose from: the weekend lunch buffet at $32.99, an upgrade to the dinner menu at $48.99, and a premium option at $69.99 that opens up even more selections. I decided to upgrade, and it was well worth it. The variety of meats and seafood was impressive, and I liked being able to cook everything myself right at the table. The marinated beef grilled up tender and flavorful, while the grilled salmon was fresh, tasty, and a nice surprise on an AYCE menu.
The service was another highlight. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and fast, always making sure we had plenty of meat, sauces, and side dishes without having to wait. The flow of food came at a comfortable pace, and it never felt rushed or disorganized. Banchan and sides were plentiful, adding balance to the heavier BBQ items, and the staff checked in often to see if we needed anything else.
Another big plus is the parking situation. The restaurant has a large lot right off Ventura Boulevard that can easily fit around 50 to 70 cars, so parking is never an issue — something you don’t take for granted in this part of L.A. Between the food, the service, and the ease of access, the whole experience felt smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
Overall, House of Galbi delivers exactly what you want from an AYCE Korean BBQ spot: generous portions, fresh selections, flavorful marinades, and a relaxed environment where you can enjoy cooking at your own pace. It’s a great choice for both small groups and larger gatherings, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

This was really a great experience for us, nice restaurant, spacious, the staff work extra hard to accommodate customers and they are often checking on you to see if you need anything. The only criticism we have is that the food quality was not as top tier as other similar restaurants, but still above average.

This place has improved tremendously since they opened a couple of years ago. There are a lot of choices of dish to get. Their marinated shrimp is amazing. Service is great too and servers are on top of everything and bring our requests quickly. It does get smokey inside and you so smell like good food after.

Very disappointing! The food feels very unhealthy. It also tasted very mediocre. Went for lunch, service was good but the food was a disaster. It was indeed the worst Korean bbq I had in LA. I feel sorry for the people running this place and for our party for having to spend 250$ on one of the worst bbq experiences ever. I do not recommend this place. The should be named as the brand ambassador of the food poisoning consortium.

Have been coming here for at least 10 years always a good spot to come and enjoy good Korean bbq either it’s “ all you can eat” or “ a la carte” The guys who work here are always on top regardless how busy they are or tired! You guys rock. It’s not easy to serve in the heat !

Came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday with the family. And we were very pleased with their food and service! The bulgogi was my favorite. But everything we tried was yummy – the spicy pork belly, the brisket, the spicy crispy chicken wings, assorted vegetables, tofu pot with seafood, fried rice with shrimp, they give you free refills on your soda and so many yummy side dishes. The lunch deal is really great. The servers were so friendly and responsive to all our requests. The place is newer, nicely decorated, the parking is plentiful and free. I can’t wait to come back!

The Best Korean BBQ in the Valley.
Thanks to the Staffs for an amazing service. They keep offering more meat like they want to fill you up until you give up unlike other Korean BBQ Restaurants that make you wait for 30minutes just to serve the meat.
Great quality of meat and vegetables.
The Restaurant is clean.
Valet parking but metered street parking is also available.
It’s definitely worth every penny spent!
*** Adults must bring proof of vaccination and ID otherwise they will not accommodate you.

First time here and I was excited to come. Then I looked at the menu and already dissatisfied by the list. I would think a AYCE Korean BBQ would have the basics but not here. The food was way too spicy or not traditional. The side dishes is and always good cause it taste like the mothers touch, but the items like taco and stuff just kills the whole purpose of Korean BBQ.
