We visited the King & I on a Tuesday night & it was surprisingly very busy. Even so there was no wait for a table as they have several large dining rooms. They have a large room at the back which would be great for private functions.
The decor & crockery were quintessentially Thai which was lovely. Toilets, exceptionally clean.
It is BYO & the corkage fee is very reasonable. They do have non alcoholic beverages for sale.
Customer service was very efficient & friendly.
We ordered entrees- spring rolls & soup. Spring rolls were very small for the price. Tom Yum Soup with seafood was delicious- perfect balance of flavours & heat.
For mains we ordered- a small bowl of steamed rice, thai green chicken curry, pad thai & pad prik thai on with seafood.
The food was very tasty, fresh & flavoursome (definitely tastes authentic) and we had enough to take home for another meal. We did find the Pad Prik Thai on with seafood a little too salty for our tastes though.

Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in Perth. Hidden away at the Guildford region. “Do not judge the book by its cover” is probably the best description I could put for this Thai restaurant. Do not let the picture fools you or the prices for the foods. They are well worth it.

Fantastic atmosphere. Plenty of parking at the rear. Friendly and professional staff. Massaman beef was different (not to my liking) a bit sweet with 3 large chunks of beef and 3 large pieces of potatoes. Chicken stir-fry was good.
