Another friend and I had lunch yesterday.
I ordered the eggplant lasagna with a Caesar salad and dressing on the side. My friend ordered the ravioli caprese which had a pomodoro sauce; and the Caesar salad.
While waiting for our food, we enjoyed the warm fresh baked bread. The salads were very good! Nice, fresh, crisp romaine lettuce and a delicious dressing.
As for my entrée, I was very disappointed. The eggplant, sliced extremely thin, was heavily breaded that I couldn’t even taste or feel any texture of the eggplant. I called it, “bread-plant lasagna.” It had a mushy texture from the breadcrumbs. I couldn’t taste any ricotta at all. After just a couple of bites, I gave up.
My friends ravioli looked deflated. I’ve seen many a ravioli that was a lot more plump than these. She did enjoy them.
The waitress never came to the table to see if we liked our food or needed anything. When she showed up, I asked for a box, although what was I thinking? I wouldn’t eat it at home and I know my husband wouldn’t either. The waitress came with a box and I told her I wouldn’t take it home. I explained what I didn’t like about it and she said, you could have asked for something else. Not easy to do when she never came to the table when we were eating.
She was nice to remove the lasagna from my bill and only charged me for the salad. I appreciated that.
It’s a nice place but the background music was very loud. It was difficult to talk to my friend.
Will I come back? Maybe. I definitely will not order the “bread-plant lasagna” again.
Best Cesar salad I’ve ever had! Also the chef made steak sauce was DELICIOUS OMG so good pasta was also very good
We most likely eat in the outdoor area next time and they’re definitely will be many more next times.
Let’s start with the focaccia bread! ALWAYS so good.
We’ve been here multiple times and try something new each time and have been impressed every single time. There’s not a single thing that we haven’t liked yet.
Solid wine list, fresh ingredients and excellent servers. 10/10 from us!
Always recommend this place to our guests looking for a nicer meal.

We had the Luca pizza and meatball appetizer for lunch. The food was delicious and our server Hanna was awesome!
To start we had fried calamari, zucchini, and olives which were delightful! We also got meatballs which were flavored perfectly and an enough to serve 4 people with other appetizers. We also got the rice balls and they were our favorite! Cheesy and creamy and super tasty!
For our entrees we got chicken Parmesan which was flavorful and great portion size. We got the carbonara which was another huge portion size and great. We got the crab ravioli which could have used more sauce and more flavor inside but still pretty good. And the pasta pescatore which was PHENOMENAL! All of their pasta is hand made and you can tell! It was served with delicious focaccia bread which goes great with most dishes!
For dessert we had crème brûlée and mint chocolate chip gelato and they were very tasty!
Overall this is an amazing choice if you want some great Italian food near the beach! We spent around $65 per person but there are price points for everyone!
Overall it’s 5/5
