Parkway Grill came highly recommended by 2 locals and it did not disappoint. We had the shrimp rolls and fried pickle spears. The fried pickles are homemade and are the BEST fried pickles I have ever had!! The fish wraps had perfectly prepared chunks of fresh fish and the fried cod was plentiful. Our service was prompt and the atmosphere is open and bright. Must try in Floyd!

Food – fried wonton app, steak tips, stir-fry beef, fried cod and children’s shrimp. All were delicious choices. My favorite was the tempura fried cod as it was excellent!
Drinks- French martini, long Island iced tea and French 75. The bartender knows what they’re doing. All of these cocktails were delicious!
Desserts- bourbon pecan pie and white chocolate peppermint. All I can say is SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT!!!
Service- our waitress did an excellent job!
Atmosphere- nice with soft music.

My wife and I have dined at Parkway Grill a number of times. The food and service are excellent, prices are reasonable, it’s local.
The stir fry with beef tips was excellent. The tips were cooked perfectly and there were plenty of them. The food was served hot.
The shrimp and grits was also fantastic.
We arrived at Parkway Grill just before 4:00 and the lunch menus were still on the tables. The prices were lower than dinner prices but I didn’t feel there was a lack of food options.
Service was excellent.
The one item that caused me to take a star off Atmosphere was the loudness of the music. When we entered the restaurant, it was at a very nice volume. Halfway through our meal, someone turned the volume up to an uncomfortable, unpleasant level. As the restaurant interior is very echoing, the music reverberated through the area. Next time, I will ask for a more conversational volume.

This place did not disappoint one bit!! Wow! Yummy food, and extremely wonderful service. I’m gluten free so I had the bacon cheddar burger on gluten free bun. One of THE tastiest burgers I’ve ever had. The sweet potato waffle fries were delicious too, they came out a little cold but still very good. My mom got the steak sandwich, she said it was delicious too!
Can’t wait to go back & try the jerk chicken and other delicious things that are gluten free.
Still come here for the delicious food and bring out of visitors too! Today we had the bacon cheddar burger and the chicken salad sandwich.

I can’t say enough about this place and it is truly one of my go to restaurants in the area. I have never ever had a bad meal or experience here, one of a kind for the area. Also if you’re traveling and do not stop in for at least a sandwich for lunch before you go, you’re doing yourself a great disservice.

Had no idea this little gem was so close to Galax. Food was wonderful, especially the shrimp and grits. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. If you are near the wineries or in Floyd, you must try this great place.

I wish I could say whether the food was good or not, but we never got waited on. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and there were only 2 or 3 tables that were occupied. There were at least 4 employees just standing around talking. It took a very long time for the hostess to decide where she was going to seat us, even though the place was practically empty. Hmmm? When we were finally seated at a little corner table, we weren’t waited on at all. Not one of the 4 employees came and took our drink order. No one said, “I’ll be right with you.” No one even smiled at us. Nothing. It’s like they were purposely ignoring us, because they weren’t doing anything but standing around conversing. We waited longer than we normally would because we were pretty hungry, but finally walked out.
