We went here for the first time to check it out. The coffee/ice cream shop is cute on the inside and family friendly. I orders a Charlie Brown, which is a dirty chai with caramel and pecan I believe. I am not a tea drinker, but this was delicious with the mix of chai and espresso. My hubby ordered a latte and he enjoyed it as well. They had a wide variety of flavors to choose from.
Someday when it’s warmer, I hope to go back and try the ice cream. They had several flavors and it looked good.
The liquor store and gaming parlor are on the other side, with a wall, doorway, and foyer area separating.

This place has become our #1 place for breakfast. The coffee is good and they have a large variety of syrup flavors to add (sugar-free syrups too). Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and filing. You can choice to have half sandwich or a whole sandwich. They have a variety of bakery items too. The people working there are friendly and helpful. They give suggestions to try if you don’t know what to get. Give them a try…..we really like them and support the mom/pop shops!!

We had such an incredible experience here! We showed up right after closing time, and instead of turning us away, they went out of their way to serve us with a smile. They could have easily said they were closed, but they took the time to put our order together without making us feel like a bother.
Not only was the ice cream delicious, but the customer service was above and beyond. We truly appreciated the extra effort and will definitely be back.

I found this coffee shop on accident browsing google. The vibe is very relaxing and homey. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
I ordered the praline latte and my husband had the hazelnut latte. We were a little disappointed with the coffee, they were very bitter and lacked flavor. Unfortunately, I was unable to drink mine.
We also ordered the bacon egg and cheese panini, this was super delicious and fresh!

Who knew vikings could brew up some delicious coffee.
On a day trip to Bloomington, Emily and I picked a random coffeehouse off my list of ones I have yet to try and we landed on Viking Brews. We both didn’t look it up beforehand so we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. As we pulled up, I was surprised to see that there was an attached Viking Liquors and there was a gaming parlor inside as well as a spot for ice cream.
I was starving for both food and coffee, as was Emily. But we had birthday lunch plans so I grabbed my usual Americano and decided to get a bagel to hold me over until we got to the restaurant. Emily grabbed a latte concoction that she made up based on the menu offerings. We took a seat at one of the couple tables available and waited a few minutes for our drinks and my bagel.
I kid you not…….. this was the best bagel I’ve ever had. Most of the time, a bagel will be dense and tough to pull apart while eating. Not this one. It was light and fluffy and full of flavor despite being a plain one. They use these for their sandwiches and it really makes me want to come back and try one out. As for the coffee, the americano was really good. Nothing to really highlight besides it being about what I prefer from one. Emily was really happy with her latte and I gave it a sip and it was indeed really tasty.
The baristas that were working all had to be in high school but had stellar customer service. I asked them for a few of the stickers they put on their cups and they kindly hooked us up. All in all, Viking Brews would be my go-to spot for americanos if I lived in the area but sadly do not. It was a great start to a day full of shenanigans and lost cellphones.

i wasn’t impressed with this coffee shop. as a first-time customer, i asked for recommendations and was only told about dirty sodas, not much guidance on the coffee, which was disappointing for a coffee spot. the chai is bottled, there’s no matcha, and that was another letdown for me. i ordered a vanilla latte and asked for it to be sweeter, but it tasted burnt and honestly wasn’t good. i had higher expectations and it missed the mark. the bagel and muffin were okay, but overall this place needs some improvements before i’d come back.

If I could double the stars I would. Nothing with local coffee was on route I 74 so we drove out of the way to go here. It was worth it!

Iced coffee was okay. It had flavor. Stopped in to get hot coffee this morning to start our drive home to Colorado. Coffee was burnt tasting with none of the flavors we ordered. Just a burnt coffee and milk.

I highly enjoyed this place!! We stopped in for a Girl Scout cookie inspired coffee flight. So Delicious!! I may live a few hours away but I am already working on planning a trip back! I cannot wait to try more!
