Did not know about this place and was completely taken back of how awesome everything was! There will be a need for me to go back. 🙂 The outdoor seating in the back is superb and the ambiance at night time is great! I sampled each of the dishes we had and everything was excellent. Service was completely professional and top notch. Prices were a liitle high but worth every penny. You have to go check this place out!

We ventured back to the original Bistro di Marino last night, it’s been a while. We had a great dinner experience again, start to finish. Great atmosphere, with some soft music too. Our server Andrew was on point the entire time, very friendly, always checking on us if we needed anything and he didn’t rush us. Food was spread out time wise and not on top of each other. The other staff were great as well including the hostess that sat us, the bus boys who always refilled our water glasses and other servers helping out. Food was hot, great portions and delicious. We’ve seen some bad reviews and I think they’re really trying to make things right again so I definitely would not mark them off your list. We’ll definitely be back again, thx Bistro!!

Oh, the fish dish picture had extra sauce on it by request, we like our food swimming. lol

Our server did the best he possibly could, but our entire experience was a mess. They called us less than an hour before our reservation to tell us they had a designated menu for the night that was $65 a person. Would have been nice to know less than an hour before but that’s fine. It takes over 30 minutes for us to get our first course, which was one small piece of eggplant. After that, it took another 15-20 minutes to get our gnocchi, which ended up being all of 5 pieces with next to no flavor. Another 20 minutes later, we get our chicken. It was good but not worth the hassle of everything else. Aside from that, throughout the night, they ran out of majority of the menu. They were already out of salmon when we got there, but then very quickly ran out of chicken and gnocchi. Because of this, they had to literally call and cancel peoples reservations. Extremely poor planning on the restaurant. The meal was absolutely not worth the price. Not to mention, our ice cream came out completely melted. Again our server did the absolute best he could, but we will not be returning.

My wife and I celebrated all our mile stones here. We revisited it last night and this place has not skipped a beat!

The service, the food, the people and the atmosphere are all amazing.

The gnocchi is still the best I ever had and Jim is whipping up some amazing new recipes on the new wood fired grill.

We cant wait to go back!

I had Valentine’s reservations for 5:30 pm. We were seated promptly and were given a prix fixe menu. This caught my date and I by surprise. The price was not listed, and when we asked we were told it was $65. The reservation was made over a month ago, and I recently checked social media and their website for menu or holiday updates. Nothing was posted or disclosed to us regarding this menu. The options were limited, and of course, the dishes I looked forward to eating from the regular menu were not available. I know restaurants are very busy during holidays, especially Valentine’s, but a heads up about the menu change would have been appreciated. This was very disappointing, and ultimately concluded our dinner as the prix fixe menu did not appeal to us. In the future, I hope this restaurant is better at informing their guests of such changes.

It’s really unfortunate when you make a reservation for Valentine’s Day and it takes so much time to be seated that everyone is standing on top of each other and essentially watching others eat, which isn’t a great experience for anyone. By the time we got seated, it was more waiting just to get water and then our table moved so much it spilled our water and wine. The menu was completely limited, which is interesting because that wasn’t advertised on their website like other places in the area. Well, good news, they ran out of 2 of the 3 main entrees being offered. How does that even happen? We hard another couple complaining a few tables away. The couple next to us were in the same boat with not even being able to order and ended up leaving. There didn’t appear to be any form of management which is unbelievable for what was supposed to be a really nice restaurant (at least that was the rumor years ago). I felt so bad for the hostess and the waiters, so I do not hold any of this against them because they were trying. Who knows what the poor cooks were going through as well. This place is poorly managed, or maybe it’s not managed at all, and we didn’t even get a chance to try anything. At least our waiter was kind enough to tell us before we bothered to order, but we were basically ready to leave by that point anyhow. By comparison to what people used to say about this place, you are better off saving your money… actually they may help you do that on their own by running out of food. When we left, there was still a line of people and they had no idea that they were waiting for disappointment.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic BYOB restaurant that truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the most amazing appetizers of fried calamari and shrimp wrapped in pancetta. The flavors were out of this world, and the pesto dip for our bread was so delicious that we couldn’t stop eating it!

The outdoor ambience of this place is incredible! This was my second time there, but it was my first time sitting outside, and I was blown away by the charming and relaxing atmosphere. The general manager, Christa, made our experience even more special by coming around to check on us and even giving us chocolate-cello, which was a delightful touch to end the evening!

And I can’t forget to mention the gnocchi! The homemade gnocchi in pesto sauce was divine, and the gnocchi with lobster was equally impressive. This restaurant has truly mastered the art of gnocchi, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a place with outstanding food and a lovely atmosphere, this is it!

And if that wasn’t enough–they offer multiple specials on different days of the week. They have virgin sangrias that are perfect for a refreshing drink, delicious mussels that are a must-try, and even a day when kids eat free, making it a great spot for families! The variety and quality of the specials make each visit unique and enjoyable. Highly recommend checking it out for a delightful dining experience!

I attempted to get another carry out order on Sunday, January 11th. App indicated the restaurant was open for business. Then I got a cancellation on the online order app. A 5 minute ride over to the restaurant Showed the proof of it not being open. Disappointing! I ended up going over to another italian restaurant up the street. I told the person what I encountered , and immediately , he said , yes , they have a reputation with being a little sketchy , sometimes with operation.

It started when we were seated and only given 1 menu because they were short on menus. Our reservations were for 7:15, and were immediately told they were out of bread. I suggested they run to another restaurant on thr Avenue and get some. Had to ask for a server to come over and open our wines at which point he told us they were out of wine glasses, so he brought some champagne flutes. Again—-our waiter did his best, it was not his fault at all. We all picked our appetizers, only to be told that they were out of most of them. The pasta dishes were not what was described and my gnocchi tastes like it came out of a jar of Ragu—-no taste whatsoever. No one got the sides they ordered because they were out, too. When I made the reservation, I requested a birthday cake or special dessert, as we were celebrating my father’s 87th birthday. I reminded him about the dessert and was told they were out of desserts too. They were also out of spinach, Parmesan cheese and just about anything else you can think of. If I didn’t know better, it looked like they were closing for good.

Our waiter kept coming to our table and said ‘I want to try to say this with a straight face….buy we’re out of that too!’ We definitely laughed throughout our pieced together meal, but will think twice about ever going back

My $150 order was cancelled by the business and never delivered, but my card was still charged. I was unable to get in touch with the business via phone or email for a week, but eventually was able to text someone from catering who responded, albeit slowly. If ordering delivery, I recommend not using their website app and only using a more responsive third party vendor (eg doordash) to avoid this issue.
