We have been there a few times since it first opened and had a great experience. It’s Seattle’s Best coffee – the espresso drinks were good, not big on the drip coffee. Had the Avocado and Toast with was amazing. Staff is very friendly. We have made visiting one of our normal stops on our downtown walks. Great to have this addition in the area.

I was disappointed and disgusted with the service given today. We ordered hot coffee and a kale berry smoothie and the waitress got sassy when asked for sugar and cream. The smoothie tasted absolutely disgusting and looked like straight up whole milk with kale. We also ordered oatmeal and it took 28 minutes for it to arrive. There were only 6 people in the cafe at this time. Do come here if you want your feathers ruffled at 6:30 in the morning.

My barista was lovely and the service was lovely. The environment is lovely too and quiet. The menu online is inaccurate to in person and the serving sizes suck. I was very disappointed with my sandwich for the price . Had very little meat or greens

The staff is always super nice. The food is quite good too. They can get a little over run in the mornings, especially on the weekends, BUT they do pull over a few extra hands to help. It is a small operation so there can be a short wait when it is busy but it makes sense that the kitchen area is small given off breakfast volumes. The cafe is super cozy to relax in while enjoying your food and drink. Highly recommend the avocado toast and the pastries are always a treat with an afternoon coffee.

Terrible disappointing experience. We’ve been before, but this was not good. Afrer studykng the menu for a few minutes, we ordered and then was informed they were out of bacon. Daughter ordered apple cinnamon muffin and was given banana nut. She’s allergic to nuts. Asked for silver ware twice. Sandwich was supposed to come with fruit but we did not get it. Toasted bread was soggy. Way too expensive for the food we were given.

Honestly – not my favorite. I really want to like it and it surely has that potential. I hope to see this place improve in the coming years and become what I know is right below the surface in terms of customer service. The Stella, of course, is a beautiful location and I have had nothing but great experiences in every other inch of this hotel. This café has its bar extremely low. The food is overpriced considering what you get and the customer service is poor. Food is slow to come and I received orders wrong. Went here a few times within the last year on my lunch as I work nearby; I stopped going as there are far better options around downtown. Again, I hope I can update to a better review in the coming years…

I am eating a cinnamon roll that was not made today, and maybe not yesterday. It is stale to the point of being hard and breaks when I bite it. Fresh ingredients are out of stock at this cafe and the young lady who served us was obviously untrained and nervous. This is a business surviving only on travelers devoid of another option. Buy the peanut M&Ms in the hotel lobby and be happier.

The food wasn’t very good, clam chowder which was cold. Salad was ok. Disappointing. Service was friendly. It was 5 dollars for soup and salad that day.

Went to get two iced coffees. After watching the two girls who work here spend 10 minutes figuring out what receipts had been fulfilled they started to make my iced coffee. About 15 minutes later I had my coffee and out the door. They need better supervision and more structure or no one is going to come back.
