Just happend to pop over after a sport event at PEA. Used to come to Sawbelly so it was cool another brewpub took the space. We were told its the same chef too. The vibe with today’s music is 10/10. Love the mix of pop/rock from 70s and 80s.
Service was excellent. Hannah is a gem.
Food:
Shrimp/crab Wonton was a miss for me.
Chicken tenders were awesome. Great batter and spice.
The sesame bun on the burger was not for me. Very overpowering.
Fries were solid 11/10 crispy and salty.
Beers:
Had 2 orders of random assortment of flights. The porter was a total sleeper. Pair it with the creme brulee, I dare you. It was epic.
Surprised by Eagle Rare availability. Had to get a few fingers, neat.
Can’t wait to come back in summer and sit outside at night!

Came on a busy Sunday evening.
Place was packed. We did get seated right away, with a toddler.
Seemed like a lot of locals love the place and I understand why. The food is delicious and beautiful.
It was clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. Table was quite small though for 2 adults and a toddler. Food came out quick after the appetizer so it left little to no room on the table and made it hard to not only eat but we felt rushed.
Lastly and most disappointing was that my Brulee was not set inside. Our waitress said oh that looks watery and not done. I said it was not done by any means. Yet she did not take it off the bill or offer anything else. Glad it didn’t make me sick!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious. It was our first time visiting, and we will definitely be back . The beer selection is really good. They also serve wine and mixed drinks. The menu items are very well portioned, and everything arrived at the perfect temperature. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor sitting areas.

Went on opening night and it was incredible! Had a flight of 4 juicy IPAs, as well as the chicken tenders & braised short rib! I could literally eat the short rib everyday it was outstanding. You’ll probably see me here once a week! The staff and owners are very friendly too. 10/10.

Outstanding food and tasty beer! But it’s really the food that’s a standout. There’s some serious talent in that kitchen! Everything is made in-house, including the potato chips. The crab and poblano dip with Old Bay chips was the best thing I have eaten in months. The mussels were brimming with flavor, the broth rich and delicious, served with perfectly squishy, grilled foccacia. I recently had mussels at a “seafood” place, and Exeter Brewing Co Kitchen blew them out of the water. If I could give 6 stars, I would. No one expects “gourmet” pub food, but this kitchen proves that it can be done. Quality ingredients in clever recipes, made fresh by a kitchen staff who clearly cares. I will drive an hour down from Portland (yes, “foodie” Portland) just to try more of Exeter’s Brewing Co’s menu!

Food was good, definetly wasn’t prepared for it to be as gourmet as it was, but thats ok. My husband got the rib eye and I got short ribs. The portions were vastly different.. ribeye was a huge plate while the short ribs were a little portion . The ribeye was tasty, the short ribs tasted like pot roast and while it was good.. it left me longing for more (flavor wise) We got right in on a friday night , no wait at 5pm. Overall good food and nice place but it didnt wow me after hearing so much about it.

Great food, excellent beers and top notch h service. I have been rooting for Exeter to have its own place since they started self distributing their excellent beer offerings to the local places. Luckily they have opened a super cool spot with great food.

First time here.
I had the Boneless Ribeye Medium Rare with Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Green beans.
This is 100% a TOP THREE RIBEYE I’ve ever had in my life, easily one of the most tender & flavorful pieces of steak I’ve had out at a restaurant. I absolutely recommend the ribeye for $34 this actually feels like a steal.
The garlic mashed are smooth but also have a light chunky texture, a garlicky rosemary flavor is present wonderfully.
The green beans are crunchy to perfection.
This dish was cooked with pure love and passion for culinary arts.
Incredible experience thank you.

The waitress was very nice, patient and helpful. The food was good especially the fries. I didn’t like my cocktail it was way to sour but the waitress and bartender tried several times to fix it. A little before we left it was starting to get extra loud with kids screaming. We may give it another try again later on.
