Long overdue to review — consistently solid, like a homemade sandwich day after Thanksgiving but every day of the year at Earl’s! Never had a bad meal here, though my wife (from Lake Charles Louisiana) wasn’t a huge fan of the gumbo. Turkey and cranberry is cant’ miss, ditto with the Brie. Keep up the good work!

This sandwich shop is cozy. There isn’t much in seating available in store. They make each sandwich to order, so there can be a wait if it’s busy. I would recommend ordering ahead during peak hours.
We ordered the Cuban Club and the Steak & Brie. The Cuban Club had the best flavor. The Steak & Brie was a cheesesteak with fancy cheese. The fries were okay.

Best Sandwiches I have ever had! Tastes and feels like I made them from home! Im never tired after eating here, and i always feel great! This tells me that the food is clean, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The Turkey and Roast Beef are cooked fresh daily, and the Chicken is made fresh to order everytime! They even have the best hot sauce! I’ve been eating here every week for the past year, ever since I discovered this hidden gem!
My favorite is the Grilled Chicken Sandwich on sourdough! They are even so kind and are willing to do half sized sandwiches and any modifications to meet your satisfaction. Sometimes, I will get a half sandwich with extra chicken if i dont want too much bread, and they always hook it up! The amount of food they give is very generous and the prices are the best in Virginia, especially for the quality of food you are getting! The employees are always friendly and helpful, and they just create a wonderful atmosphere in the store with their great customer service! I highly recommend everyone trying their sandwiches! They are better than Moms

Came here for lunch with my guest, and it was awesome.
A small little restaurant that to me personally has a great little view, nice seating inside, clean and good food. The cashier was so pleasant with stellar customer service.
Plan to visit again with more guests and even by myself. To sit and enjoy the window view is peaceful and relaxing.

Yummy shrimp Po Boy sandwich, super generous potions and the hand cut fries are absolutely worth the extra cost for sure! My friend had the melted Brie on sourdough and said she’d get it again. Lucky we found this little place on our way to DC!

Look at the picture included and you know everything you need to. That sandwich SLAPPED. I’ve eaten there and taken out by this point and I have the following thoughts.
This place is the best example of keeping it simple. They do not try to dress themselves up like the rest of these instagram cafes. They serve delicious sandwiches with quality ingredients at an affordable price. Pure comfort food that warms the soul. The atmosphere of the place is the same. Very unassuming but charming at the same time. Light seating outdoor and indoor for a quick bite during lunch or on your way home from work.
I love this place. I eat it when it when I just want to feel at home. Like those sandwiches your grandma makes that are just so slightly elevated that you know you couldn’t make something as good yourself.

Best sandwich I’ve ever had. I got the turkey and Brie. You can see the cranberry sauce/relish brewing right there in a big stainless steel pot on the stove right behind the cashier. Everything was warm and melty and delicious.
Great ingredients. Friendly staff. Good music playing. Fast service. Chill little tucked away spot. First time here so I can’t speak to rest of the menu but it’s gotta be great. Five stars.

Really good neighborhood sandwich shop! Sandwiches are large, good ingredients, fair prices. Today I had the Fish and Chips whole sandwich with cheddar cheese added. It was really good, but could’ve used a few more pickle slices and firmer bread, as it was getting a bit soggy and falling apart as I ate it. I like my bread a little crispier/harder but I might be in the minority. The cod fillet used was big and tasty! Despite some minor quibbles, I will definitely be returning. Basic small seating area, more than half of their business is clearly carryout. Next time I will order ahead of time online.

I enjoy dining at Earls because, despite rising food costs and inflation, they continue to offer an economical menu. I appreciate the option to order a half sandwich along with a half order of fries. The staff is always friendly and efficient, and the food is consistently delicious. The picture shows a salmon BLT on whole grain bread that has already been enjoyed.
