The staff are very kind. And very sweet.
I came because I had been recommended this place due to having allergies and the food being fresh made.
My order was simple, tempura veg with sweet and sour chicken. With hot tea to drink.
When the tea arrived it was warm and lovely, but no surger or a plate for the bags, or a coaster for under the pot, so it stick to the table several times.
I asked for no onions and no peppers in my meal explaining my allergy.
My tempura arrived with spicy mayo. I asked for soy sauce or something, blindly I was brought lite soy sauce. My server was very nice but I felt a bit embarrassed to tell him that wasn’t right. So I got up to get my own from the shelf.
Taste wise the tempura was very good though a few pieces were a bit charred. It was salted, which was nice, because it gave it some flavor, and with no standard dipping sauce the salt was a nice flavor.
When the chicken arrived it was bare. It was meant to be served with pineapple (as I’d asked for no bell peppers and onions)
When I asked where the rest was I was brought a bowl of cold, out of the can, pineapple… it felt a bit annoyed… as if I had inconvenienced then by asking for the rest of my meal.
I asked if that was how it was normally served?
I was told it was not… normally it was mixed in and warm…
I asked for it to be served as it normally would just without the peppers and onions… I was told it was just without the peppers and onions
If I was difficult to understand I don’t know how to be clearer..
I couldn’t seem to get across why I was disappointed
Thinking I just wanted veggies, the manager brought me steamed veg mix.
I fear I was not communicating properly, though my server did understand what my issue was but was unsure how to fix it.
I did try to eat the chicken but it was the exact same box tempura chicken you get from other places… the veg tasted bagged or frozen, the mushrooms were just… mush
When my check came, the price was different than the menu, apparently the menu hadn’t been updated with the new system.
The manager and servers are very lively and kind people though.

Easy to find location. The service was good and waitress was very polite. The salad and miso soup were huge, the sushi tasted fresh and the rice was perfect. Facilities were pretty clean and has an upscale but laid-back feel. The food came out pretty quick. It was pretty empty when I was there at around 6:30 on a Monday.

Best Sushi in Hendersonville, period. I stumbled across this place, walked in, and the atmosphere was WOW! The menu is large. Lots of other foods than sushi. The wine is delicious. The service was great. I will be back to taste other foods.

Our take out was amazing! We were craving hot soup with this weather and Fulins has the best hot and sour soup! Our daughter also loves her beef and broccoli. Will definitely order from them again!

Honestly couldn’t be happier. Waitstaff was super friendly and the food was excellent. The interior is absolutely gorgeous as well. I got the spicy tuna roll, crunchy crab roll, and one of the chef special rolls, I forget which, but it was deep fried and fantastic. I couldn’t stop myself from eating a bunch before I got photos, but I about hurt myself stuffing my face full of all the sushi because I just had to finish it! Do yourself a favor. The restaurant was pretty empty at peak time on Sunday, so I’m guessing people aren’t in the know, but they should be!

A friend of mine recommended this place to me, The food was decent, but what I did not like was hearing the manager spew hate Out of her mouth at one of her employees. Thats verbal abuse and unprofessional. The customers could hear it, and it was uncomfortable. Had my young son with me as well. Id rate it zero stars if i could.

Loved the Singapore Noodles Cay had Chicken Lomein and it was literally the best Lomein ever ( I had to try her’s too!,) We are Asian Americans so we know our noodles! We also had the fried green beans with yum yum sauce and it was fantastic Esha (sounds like Isha) was our server and she was amazing so I included her in our pics … will definitely be back to Fulins for the awesome food and to see Esha I highly recommend this local Hendersonville Jewel
