This place is a hidden gem! Samantha was super friendly and attentive. Rachel, the head chef, was gracious to request feedback of the food to be able to better the menu, even though I couldn’t think of anything to improve. She even gave us some secrets on how the items were cooked.

Wow! Just wow! Tomato Basil Soup with gourmet Grilled Cheese was THE BEST! Goat cheese appetizer is a must. Bistro burger blew our minds. Why have we never thought to put brie cheese on a burger before tonight?! The staff is incredible and so warm. Our server, Austin, went above and beyond. Our little one wanted a chocolate latte and he made it just perfect for him and from the mouth of our son, “It was excellent”. Really happy we stopped in. Vegans, rejoice, the vegan options on the menu are amazing and I deeply enjoyed the squash Ratatouille. Definitely stop here!

Cute outside venue with a nice garden feel. Our first waiter (Austin) and first waitress were very friendly and nice. The beers on tap were good. The food was just ok, overpriced for the portion size. The burger lacked flavor. After a couple of beers a pushy and rude third waitress came over and basically told us to leave. There was only one other table occupied and we were not speaking loudly, so not sure why she was so pushy about us paying the bill. That waitress ruined the experience, making us feel like we were no longer welcome. We will not be back.

What an incredible dinner! Really cool atmosphere, especially at dusk and at night. We went for dinner, had two apps, a bottle of wine and each decided to get our own entrees too! Food was unbelievably good. Even the chef came out to bring us a dish and say hello. You can tell she cares about the food and the experience. Our waiter, Austin was great! Took great care of us and had great suggestions.! We can’t wait to go back!! Stop reading this and go eat there! Incredible!

First off, there are not enough places in or near the square with outside seating. This is what initially drew my wife’s and my attention. So glad we decided to stop by. The goat cheese appetizer was great. Half price bottles of wine for Happy hour was a bonus. There is also indoor seating for those that don’t do the outdoors. Service was really good. I have nothing negative to say.

If you want a very limited, flavorless food than look no further! I ordered the Ratatouille and one would expect what they have pictured not a pot of whatever the hell I was served. My husband ordered the burger and it was what one would get from Costco value pack. The beer was flat and the wine choices are less than impressive. Also do not even bother letting the staff know because they will run off and pout like a child. So if you are 16 and want to impress your date then enjoy your lackluster meal!

It’s not difficult, just go. They have an amazing menu, breakfast through dinner. The wine selection is probably the best I’ve seen around Austin. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgable, and super welcoming.
Don’t read all the other reviews of people looking for fast casual, or being disappointed about unexpressed expectations, it’s a waste of your time. If you live in Georgetown long enough, you’ll find people that want cheap, fast, and huge portions. If that is what you are looking for, probably look somewhere else.
If you want great atmosphere (inside or out), amazing food, comprehensive beer, wine and cocktail selection, then go, you’ll be happy you did.

This bistro is one of the absolute best places in the area for delicious food or just to hang out. Everyone on the staff is super friendly and very helpful when you can’t decide between their menu options. If you’re a wine newb like I am, talk to the manager because he knows his stuff! I’ve yet to have a glass of wine (or cocktail) I didn’t like. I’ve tried most of their menus and everything tastes amazing. My favorites though are the turkey pesto and the ratatouille sandwich! You need to check this place out!

The New Nightingale Bistro is our new favorite on the square in Georgetown! We had a wonderful bottle of wine from their natural wine selection and a couple of delicious appetizers. I ordered the short rib and my husband tried the burger, both of which were delicious! The safe, socially distanced, outdoor seating with heaters taking the chill out of the air made us feel completely at ease venturing out in the pandemic! Will definitely be going back!
