What a massive disappointment! Placed a To-go order and I’m so disappointed. I have purchased this same item from here several times in the past. However today was disappointing.
I purchased the French Toast for Breakfast. It use to be made with Texas Toast, yummy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Not today. Today, it’s made with loaf bread. It’s cooked so hard that the plastic knife they gave you to cut it, wouldn’t do the job.
What happened? This is not the quality food, that this restaurant is known for?
Totally disappointed.

Cute little diner with down home food. Everything was cooked well……I loved the meat with two sides. I had a fried pork chop with mashed potatoes and collard greens, and it was hot, fresh and tasty. My hubby enjoyed his country fried steak meal. The service was very friendly as well.

Breakfast was soooo good! The food was delicious and the service was excellent!

If you ever want a meal that you would swear was cooked by your Aunt who knows how to get it done… this is your place.

It is a very small space and by no means good for a large group, but if you just want a nice experience with a friend, go here!!

The photos that were posted are not accurate. On a Saturday, they do not serve breakfast until 2:30. I think she said it was 10:30.

It was just me and by best friend, talking about life over a great breakfast (he was so excited that they serve corned beef hash)… we WILL be back!!! It was our first time, but I think this will be our go-to place.

Shhhh… please don’t tell anyone 🙂

Little Diner is a special diner hidden away at 1219 Jordan Lane, Huntsville, Alabama 35816. It is indeed a little diner. It seats between 15 – 20 customers. It has a large menu for different breakfast options as well as appetizers and everyday specials. The grill is small but is able to prepare multiple meals at once. The food is well prepared to order. Despite the large menu I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage, egg and cheese. It was hot and flavorful. The diner is short staffed and desperately needing additional staff. But the staffing did not slow down the cook, waitress , cashier and manager all in one from getting the orders out in a timely manner. If you want a great home cooked meal I would encourage you to try the Little Dinner.

We had breakfast here. Everything was done perfectly. Don’t let this hole in the wall spot fool you it’s got big tastes and won’t disappoint.

On a whim, we decided to check this place out & it did not disappoint! The cook Jerrard (the cook) fixed is right up. The food, the service & the whole experience was perfect. “Ms. Little Diner” chatted with us for a few minutes & was just a lovely soul. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend! Thanks Little Diner… We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town…

Great small diner. Super polite, fast service. I like my money going to people instead of corporations.

Me and some coworkers went here for lunch. I was told this was a dinner with some Korean food added in. We were promptly seated and handed one hand written daily menu with the Meat Special of the day (which was Meatloaf), along with the available sides. There were two menus clipped to the wall but three members in our party. I stole one from a nearby table without anyone noticing. The prices seemed very reasonable ($10~) for most lunch items. They serve Coke products (no Coke Zero, sadly). Our orders were promptly taken.

I ordered some ‘Pot Sticker’ (4) with soy sauce and a Club Sandwich. I usually order a Club Sandwich to evaluate a diner, but I’m also a fan of Pot stickers and a fatty so I grabbed some of those as well. My faithful companions ordered a Happy Burger and a Philly Cheese Steak. The sandwiches didn’t say that they came with fries (unlike other menu items), so that was an unexpected bonus.

The wait staff was pleasant but not exactly friendly. My food came out after an interminable time. The Pot sticker was… not good. Probably the second worst Pot stickers/dumplings/goyza that I’ve ever had. My wife is half asian and her mom ran multiple Chinese food restaurants whens he was growing up, so I eat them.fairly often both frozen and in restaurants (as well as home made when I visit the Mother in Law) and these dumplings were bad. The ‘soy sauce’ was worse. I could only identify it as soy sauce because the menu said the pot stickers came with soy sauce. When I dunked half a pot sticker in the sauce it came up stained black like a sinners soul and the sauce tasted like fish sauce or motor oil. To sanity check, I insisted one of my coworkers also try one and they were also repulsed. Said it was horrible.

The rest of the food (at least main courses) were great! I enjoyed my club sandwich a lot. Little small, but cheese was melted and it was delicious. Fries looked like Ore-Ida very bright yellow) and came out without salt or seasoning but that was something I could fix with three generous shakes of a salt shaker.

My companions enjoyed their meal (a Happy burger and a Philly cheese steak) a lot. One said the Philly cheese steak was 7 or 8/10, the other said the burger was one of the best he’d had.

The interior was a little hot and stuff, interior a little dirty/greasy — very much a ‘greasy spoon’. There’s a great value proposition as long as you avoid asian food, and the main courses are tasty. Give it a shot at least once.

Went with my son’s family after church today. None of us had ever been. It was absolutely wonderful. All 4 of the young kids enjoyed their fries and chicken tenders and the adults enjoyed their hamburgers, salad, grilled cheese sandwhich, chicken tenders, and french frieds! I am confident we will go back sometime – sooner rather than later if the kids have their way.
