This is a delightful dining experience for two Texans passing through Lexington, SC. The owner welcomed us soon after being seated and returned with each course to discuss the uniqueness of the dishes as we compared them to our favorite Texas TexMex restaurants. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with suggestions which were quickly served to us.
We started with a wonderful white queso & chips which exceeded our expectations when compared to the typical yellow queso with which we are familiar. We shared shrimp and guacamole tostadas with a lighted dressed salad. The deliciously seasoned grilled shrimp was very fresh and the guacamole was made with pineapple and roasted pumpkin seeds which had our taste buds humming. We then shared a bowl of grilled carne asada, chicken and shrimp fajita meats with chorizo and cheese which was served with tortillas and refried beans. This dish was so delicious.
We finished our meal with the two layer chocolate cake and flan topping which was amazing. As we were finishing, a family celebrated a birthday next to us with song and candled topped cake. What a delicious and memorable dining experience. We highly recommend this outstanding restaurant and wish that the owner would franchise his restaurant in central Texas.

What an absolute gem in the Lexington area. The hospitality alone is worth coming back for another visit. The food was fresh and delicious. The new ownership took over in December and really made the inside look colorful, warm, and inviting. This is a restaurant in Lexington that we are looking forward to going back to with a friendly staff from the bartender and servers to the husband and wife owners. Honestly, it is a “best kept secret” in the area.
The plating was very nice, couldn’t help but start eating before we took pics.

Great food. A bit more expensive than many of the Mexican restaurants in the area, but honestly the food was worth it. Aside from the sweet plantains. That was the only thing that felt clearly not priced appropriately.
Shrimp tacos were excellent, steak rancheros was quite lovely, horchata and agua frescas were wonderful. Service was good, and live music which I don’t usually go for was really great.
