If you are Boricua (from Puerto Rico) you must visit this place. The Best authentic puertorrican food in Minnesota, run buy dominican’s but they lived in PR for more than 20 years so they really know and replicate the PR sazón. It is a long drive from Minneapolis, but the reward of their delicious food is the best that you will get. This place is like been in a Cafetería in Santurce, so expect that kind of enviroment. The typical American will find the place noisy, but this is how puertorricans and Dominicans are. Bachateros… The Best Mofongo in MN.

I’m really glad we finally decided to try this place. I met the owners first and they were very friendly and I wanted to try their restaurant. We were so happy with the quality of the food. The flavors in the dishes were excellent and I was very impressed at how fresh and crisp the vegetables were. The atmosphere was good. We have different cultures in Long Prairie and the owners try to have different music at different times. So just ask them when is the best time to come if you don’t want loud music. Then go and enjoy the food.

My fiance and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday, and we both agreed this was the best food either of us have ate in recent memory… Absolutely amazing! Highly recommend.

Impressed by this place. Its brings the elements and tastings of Puerto Rico and Dominican republic to long prairie. Its not watered down either reminds me of some places i ate at in Panama . I heard there waa a good Mexican restaurant, then i walked by this please. Employees were very friendly as well.

Service was good, food amazing, the only issue I had was the music, loud reggaeton music didn’t allow to have a conversation while eating. We spend the time on the phones because of the laid music.
A small recommendation, start with the music after 7 or 8. You have amazing food and super good service, doing this could bring more people.

Can’t say enough about the quality of the food. I got the octopus on plantain. Wow!
(It’s a restaurant and club, so the music was a bit overpowering. They graciously turned it down a bit so we could enjoy our dinner. Thank you so much!)

I wasn’t impressed with the food tbh it wasn’t as authentic as I thought it would be. The penil was dry the rice was dry the platanos was the Goya frozen microwaveable ones tostones had no flavor. Maybe the sofrito wasn’t hitting idk maybe the food was just off. The service however was immaculate it’s a nice place but I could have made all of it at home and it would be more traditional Puerto Rican Food. LET ME COOK FOR YALL INSTEAD

Not the fastest service, but the food more than made up for it.
The mofongo was delicious and very well seasoned. The accompanying shrimp were extremely overcooked, but honestly they played second fiddle to the mofongo.
Two full meals easily.

Stopped there to eat and support a new business. Will never go back. Music was unbearably loud, so loud we could not hear the server at all , could not even begin to visit, and when asked to turn it down, just got a flat NO. Server was quite rude and obviously not interested in our business.
Only a couple other people at the bar so I hope they are big spenders because they are not interested in attracting fine in customers.
