First and foremost, it’s a sports bar, so set your expectations accordingly. That being said though, it’s a pretty great sports bar! The food is very good, the service is quick, and everyone on the staff was friendly. A bonus is that they’re opened later than most places around them, so it’s perfect for a nosh after 9pm.

I’ve never been to MaGerks I’ve heard the ads on the radio. We went on a Friday night with a group of 5. The atmosphere was electric , the staff was very nice from the hostess to the servers. The food prices were reasonable. We had soutwest nachos $17 that were very good and were shared with 5 people comfortably. $14 smash hamburger and a bag of chips. It was cooked well done we werent given an option for medium or less. They probably have that option. We would have orderred fries if we were upsold 😉 We were seated in the enclosed outdoor area. It does get hot out there but they accommodate you if you request it to be turned down. The light out there is limited in the corner when the sun goes down. We used a cell phone to read the bill. We would definitely go back in the warmer weather to watch a Phillies game. Perfect sports bar food and environment.

Love coming to this place, food and drink and atmosphere is great. Our server Blake went above and beyond to accommodate us. He had great recommendations and took time to talk to us and check on us despite how busy it was at the time. Lindsey is also great at the bar and makes amazing drinks!

Awesome decoration, our server Olivia was super fast and got us refills on our drinks before we even asked, also really nice. We got the short rib nachos which were super delicious and I got the backyard burgers with some French fries, they were pretty Standard but still crispy and good. Burger was cooked really well and it did fall apart pretty easily but still very tasty. Overall great experience.

My family LOVES magerks! My husband and I have been looking for a go-to place for date nights and this has quickly become it. The bar atmosphere is so fun, the staff are always a good time and happy to be there and it gives us vibes from some of our favorite college bars back in the day. What’s amazing is it’s also our go to spot for the family. My kids loves when we have Magerks dinner night. They actually eat the food and there’s enough going on that they are always entertained. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We appreciated Josie the manager. She is absolutely excellent and really loves her job and helping others. My first round I wasn’t quite ready to hold my burger and it dropped. The second round they forgot to make my burger well done. Even after this Josie insisted to make it right. The third time my burger was perfect. She did not get upset or make me feel bad but instead was very gracious. They took good care of our family with allergies and Gluten Free.

Let’s start with the steak nachos… better bring a friend!!! It’s enough for two!! Temp was just right and the cheese was dripping. Chips were crisp and not too salty.
They have 28 beers on tap.
Plus bottles, wine and mixed drinks. The budwiser in a bottle was just the right temperature to be good. The coke and chocolate cake was a slam dunk to finish the evening.
The bathrooms are clean!!!
It’s kid friendly.

My family were here when it first opened and were not impressed. It had been a few years, so we decided to try again.
We ordered kids meals for the kids. Our youngest child picked up the cup and it spilled all over him. We realized that the lids do not fit. We mentioned it to the waitress and she said “oh, yeah, they sent us the wrong lids”. Those lids should not be used for kids if that’s the case. Or, parents should be made aware.
The burgers only come with chips. We asked if we could upgrade to fries and were told that is not an option.
The first beer I got had to be sent back because it was flat. The 2nd was not much better. Neither had a head at all and tasted bad.
The food was okay, but nothing special. Definitely not worth the prices. The buns for the burger was soggy and the cheesesteak was bland meat. Not bad, but for the price, we expected a little something more.
Both kids meals came in a tray barely big enough to hold their grilled cheese and fries (kids meals come with fries, not chips). And they were supposed to come with ice cream which never came out.
