The food was great! We stopped by shortly after opening for some hibachi, but we were told there was no hibachi chef at that time. We had the option to still order hibachi but at a regular booth, but we went with the poke bowls this time instead. Our server (whose name I regretfully can not recall) was excellent, and the interior atmosphere was relaxing and visually pleasing. We enjoyed clear soup and the sashimi appetizer before our poke bowls arrived. The bowls themselves were packed with delicious ingredients and we left happy and full. We’ll be back soon!

Came in for a birthday celebration and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. Our table had additional people added despite policies being mentioned, which felt inconsistent. They also ran out of steak, and no comparable substitute (such as filet mignon) was offered — we were told only the owner could approve anything, and the manager had no authority to help. Food quality did not meet expectations, and the situation took away from what should have been a special occasion. Atmosphere itself was fine, but service and management issues stood out.

Was disappointed compared to the locations in Dallas Tx, the buffet option is advertised but wasn’t available. Servers could be more welcoming & attentive, dim lighting food portions are small compared to price.

September 2025 5 star. Excellent service and great tasting fresh food from soup, salad, sushi (highway 21 roll) to hibachi chicken steak and amazing scallops. Chef was entertaining and great with the kids.

March 2025 four star If it wasn’t for the awesome hibachi guy, we likely would have been completely disappointed. Food was cooked but Different things tasted like an old fish tank smells- miso soup, vegetables. Rice seemed old but flavorful and editable. Family said they got some that was crunchy. Timing was good Thursday night 5pm only one chef but no customers, hibachi tables all open so got service relatively quickly. Staff very friendly. Overall, food not worth the price point. Sushi was different than normal, not bad just not the same as we typically get, seemed skimpy. It was very cold in there given it was freezing outside, certainly was uncomfortable inside. Dark in room but pulled up blinds and was blinded by sun for dinner. Needs some new lighting so chefs can see.

Super fun Hibachi experience with tasty food and giggles. Went at 2pm and got the steak meal. We had kids at our station and I think that made it more personable with extra joking.

Don’t get the all-you-can eat because it’s not worth it. Food is always good but you’d be better off getting things individually. The reason I say this is because all-you-can-eat is $24.95 and is very limited on what you can order, not a big problem but if you order any sushi roll, you’ll get the whole roll. Most other sushi places that offer the all-you-can-eat bring small portions out which is great because you can get a little bit of several things before you get full which is why I like the buffet style and feel its worth it. But when they bring out the normal size sushi roll, it’s hard to eat anything else because you fill up on that. Then when they brought out the rice, it was a huge plate. Now if you don’t eat it all, then they charge 25% of your total bill. I could have spent less if I would have just paid for a sushi roll which was like $12.95 and was all I could really eat but I spent the $24.95 because I thought it would be the small portions and I could get different items.

We have not been there for 12 years. We thought we will give it a try again today for lunch. I love their hot japanese green (no refill). We ordered tuna sushi, salmon sushi, salmon skin roll, snow crab salad, and crunchy roll with shrimp( big roll). They were out of tuna so we canceled the order. I liked the salmon skin roll other than that the meal was blah. There was a lot of sushi rice under my thin salmon sushi. The crunchy roll was dry and tasteless. The snow crab salad has too much eel sauce and looks like a bowl of mush, very little avocado. The waitress was nice. She offered to call the owner so we can express our concerns. I dont really see a point of doing that. When we got our bill, there was a chef support charge of 5% (what was that for?) Then a 3% credit card surcharge. The place was so dark it felt like a dungeon. The waitress was nice to open the shades. We will not be back.

We went for my mom’s birthday because its her favorite place to have her birthday dinner. We go every year. I practically grew up with thos location. Every time has been a wonderful experience and I always leave full. This location is truly a blessing to have in town. We went on a Tuesday night so plenty of space available and a quiet night.

In the mood for some sushi… we stopped in and ended up doing the hibachi with some side sushi rolls. The place was empty and we were a little concerned… but everything was fresh and high quality. Had the shrimp hibachi and a Miami roll. The salad was the best I have had anywhere!

Just ordered some clear soup and a Hwy 21 roll to go. There was no sauce and no utensils. For what I just paid not to mention y’all asking for a tip when I was checking out on line the least y’all could do is throw in a napkin. Never again.
