The Eastside was by far one of the beast meals I have every had. the Huli Huli chicken was cooked to perfection placed on fresh greens. The chocolate cake was a girl best friend with fresh cut fruit on the side. Not only were we satisfied with the food and live music but the owner was out waiter! He made sure to check in with all of his guest freshened up the singer’s water and entertained behind the bar. I cannot wait to visit again, worth every penny!

Wonderful staff! Friendly and helpful. Live music was terrific. Burgers were great, we loved the sesame oil edamame, fries were delicious. The service really set this place apart though. Best service we had our whole trip.

Went in for lunch based on the recommendation of a friend. The lunch menu isn’t quite as exciting as the dinner menu, but this place has better food than you’d guess based on the looks of it. The shrimp skewers on soba noodles were delicious, and the organic salad with chicken was good–the chicken was very well prepared.

The Eastside was a little upscale for this hiljac. I had the Ahi poke sushi which was artfully prepared and presented. Service was efficient but slow and the owner said he was shorthanded so that should improve.
Nice place with live music the night we were there. If you’re looking for fine dinning and have a more sophisticated platelet than I, you’re golden.

You wouldn’t think this little place on the corner would be all that great, but it was really, really good. My wife says it’s the best we’ve had on Kauai. I posted some pics of our meals so take a look. All was very tasty. We’d definitely come back if we were here a couple more nights. We’re off to Oahu tomorrow – Sansei, here we come!

What a wonderful happy hour location for a bunch of Wisconsinites on vacation! Our bartender was friendly and outgoing, as was the owner who talked with us while we had a few drinks. Their drink menu was varied and the drinks were delicious. We got several orders of their Poke appetizer and it was outstanding.
I can’t speak to the dining experience, since we were just chilling at the bar for drinks when we went. But we felt right at home – except it was warmer! 🙂

Wonderful music. Great customer service. Food was absolutely delicious from the edemame we got immediately as we were seated at the best table in the place, to the unique entrees that we couldn’t get enough of, and the absolutely mouthwatering dessert. We are only on Kauai for 2 weeks but we will definitely be back here on our next trip to this island.

This place was a bit higher price point than we had been paying at all the mom and pop places we ate at all week, and well worth it.
Hubby got the ribeye, which was enormous and complimented by amazing sides. The seared ahi was also really well done, but the steak outshone it.
Excellent service. Great water-service (seems silly, but makes a huge difference) and staff is more than willing to give recommendations and advice.
Do not miss this place!

My boyfriend and I were hungry but didn’t feel like trying too hard to find a good place to eat. I wish we at least tried harder than this place… It’s like they have the right idea, but don’t execute it well. The food looked good and was the perfect amount, but it tasted really bland. The owner kept scolding an employee in front of us and it made us feel weird. Very expensive for the quality. I don’t recommend this place.

We had the tuna at the Eastside – it was the most amazing tuna which we ever had, fresh and perfectly made. The service was also really good – they pointed out to us a really good beach and gave us good advises for further dinners. 5+ stars well deserved!!!
