Fairhaven Meatball Sandwich was tasty and quite filling although I would have preferred less bun. The Fairhaven burger was good and juicy but the fries were a bit disappointing because they were not crispy.
The Carolina Gold Smoke Pork Grilled Cheese was very tasty and quite filling.
Overall, we were a bit disappointed since the fries did not meet our expectations and the food served was good but fell a bit short of expectations at the price charged. After reading several past reviews, we thought the food served would have been exceptional instead of just average. We won’t be back.
Healty menu with baked goods available.
Long term ownership and management.
Charismatic decor and outdoor seating areas.
Loved my soup and sandwich!
Fish sandwich and burger with the roasted jalapeño were excellent!
Onion rings were amazing! Fries are thick cut, more like a steak fry. Not my personal favorite cut of fry, but still good.
Everything was service nice and hot!
Wish we lived closer to try more of the menu.
We sat indoors this visit. We tried the Cuban sandwich from the daily specials and the Classic BLT. The sandwiches are sizeable, fresh and delicious! They mean business with the fresh and quality ingredients along with their homemade bread.
There is something in their House Brewed Iced Tea that elevated the taste that I must order again when we return soon.
The service was fantastic as they are so attentive with guest dining in and also observed how busy they were with pick up orders with their great service with guests picking up orders.
He had the ahi tuna sandwich with steak fries, and I had the falafel wrap. The ahi came on fresh baked in store bun. Hubby couldn’t stop raving about how tasty the bun was for the sandwich. The steak fries size was generous. The fries themselves were freshly cooked and stayed hot for the entire meal duration. Amazing right? He also received a dish of mayo and ketchup to dip the fries into. I would not be surprised to learn they make the ketchup…
The wrap was WICKED large and also very tasty. I took off the cilantro and pickled red onions. The we’re so was packed with fresh veg and they controlled the tahini so it wasn’t a sloppy wrap. It included fresh tomatoes as well – loved it.
We ended up sharing our meals and plan to hit this place on the way home. The town is nice and laid back so a visit again will be great!
We got the fig leaf, rose, and thyme soda, which was absolutely delightful, plus fried cauliflower which had been pickled first, crispy fried jalapeños, and a grilled veggie and cheese sandwich, with basil pesto and tomato jam. All excellent.
It’s like elevated diner food with ingredients from local farms. Go get some.
