This is, by far, the tastiest Asian cuisine I’ve had in the Greater Boston region. My team and I ordered a few things and everything was super flavorful and overall very satisfying. I especially enjoyed the egg fried rice, beef teriyaki, and the chicken fingers, which were all mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. We also ordered the fried shrimp, general gau, pad Thai, and a portion of decedent sashimi, which everyone raved about. Oye’s a very charming and elegant restaurant, warm and inviting staff, comfortable seating and plenty of dining space. This is our go-to spot for Asian cuisine from now on.

Great portions. Delicious orange chicken. The bartender is a little rough with new customers but funny. Nice place for a veriety of Asian foods. Chinese, Japanese, Thai.

I found a new sushi spot. The food was fresh and tasty. Service was great and prices were reasonable. I’m sure I’ll be back to check out the live Jazz music.

We really love Oye’s! They have a great gluten free menu. My personal favorite is the general Gau’s Chicken. It’s super crispy and flavorful. Not spicy. The drunken chicken is unexpected with fat rice noodles. The calamari comes with a lime dipping sauce. It pairs really well with the fried rice too.

First I want to say that oyes has been a staple for quality Chinese food for years in the reading community. So putting them on blast hurts.

Yesterday evening around 430pm I placed a $104 order. Which might not be much for some but it’s plenty for our family.

The food was old, soggy, the chicken was covered in fat and dark grey gross meat that you wouldn’t even feed your dogs on a bad day.

Our order consisted of 2 orders of chicken fried rice. 2 order of general gaus, 1 chicken teriyaki stick and a pad Thai.

The fried rice was so oily and mushy I couldn’t actually believed they thought it was acceptable to put out.

The teriyaki stick was 3 piece of fat and dark meat if it was lucky.

General gaus was different from any time I’ve ever ordered it from here which is usually my go to every single time. Never again. It was in some messed up sticky ketchup sauce. It was so disgusting I had to brush my teeth 3 times to rid the flavor.

The pad Thai was missing pretty much all the ingredients. See photos.

I called Oyed explained the situation. They didn’t offer my a refund but asked me to bring the food snack and they would make a decision later? What does that even mean? If you have an unsatisfactory product going out you offer a refund no questions asked.

I worked in the restaurant industry for a long time. Can’t even believe I’m ripping on this place.

Complete garbage. If I could report them further I would. See photos.

Garbage, Dishonest management, terrible customer service, food was disgraceful. Negative 25 stars if I could give it a score that low.

Great food and atmosphere. They have a wide variety of raw and cooked food. I tried beef and scallops in oyster sauce and I liked it a lot. The crab rangoon appetizer is great too.
The only thing is the staff are not friendly.

Best Crab Rangoon’s in Wakefield! I love the Peking Duck too, worth the 30 minute wait it takes to make! I ordered the pineapple shrimp for the first time and the presentation was amazing and was delicious! I have not had a bad meal here.

Went with a co-worker after work, ordered couple drinks bartender was frantically running around, even though the place was really not that busy took a long time to order food. Food was decent, but the price they charge for alcoholic drinks is so ridiculous, I am rarely shocked when I wear alcohol for the price but got moderate bourbon on the rocks $21 and ,got a moderate brand of conac 26.50 I got a second contact because the poor was so small it was ridiculous and then when I got the bill I was flabbergasted that I just spent $75. This is very high-end restaurant pricing for a, dirty looking atmosphere with less than adequate help.

Unfortunately , it’s very dark and hard to read the menu. There should be more ️lighting. It would be even better. They would earn even more money. The TV is loud on the bar counter. There are some downsides and some upsides. A good varied menu, fast service, and a fantastic waitress who is as excellent as ever with smile on the face

Friends repetitively spoke about just how simply good this place has been for them. We were in the area and stopped in for the classic we knew. The decor is good in this newer strip mall -the service excellent with some dishes they create only there. I was blown away with how clean the food was and made us feel afterwords even after ordering a traditionally greasy and heavy sauced, mushroom egg foo young. Even the duck sauce i nostalgically ordered was lighter , better and perfect. A gluten free menu was done just as well with a salmon over rice noodles that was executed as well as we have had . We tried a sushi roll sans rice that was all the better without my go to rice.
The place is an excellent better for you and delicious stop
0h,and they make perfect and large mai tais 🙂
Try it but save us a seat 🙂
