WOW.
We like Mexican food, and tbh it’s a hard thing to mess up. But this…. the carne asada and the carne en salsa verde blew us away. We were STUFFED because we couldn’t stop eating. Do not expect leftovers here, but your going to wish for them.
Server was attentive, food was decently quick, and drinks were ordered and delivered quickly. Tbf we were just before dinner rush so that helped.
Recommend the Texas Margh over the Regular.

I love Mexican food, and this is BY FAR the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. This is 2 hours from my house and I would definitely drive 4 hours round trip to have this food again. Literally have had dreams of this food and woke up drooling. The service? Amazing. The food and flavors? Incredible. Will recommend to everybody, probably will mention this place in my obituary.

Excellent catering service! We placed a catering request with Viva Villa for a party with roughly ~20 people and the food was delicious! Additionally, Viva Villa was very thoughtful with how the food was packaged with every container thoughtfully labeled, salsas wrapped tightly, and even a curtesy call to let us know the food will be ready and hot within the half hour. All my guests thought the food was outstanding and shared that they will be making the drive to Viva Villa from Evans now.

We absolutely love Viva Villa. Delicious food and staff is friendly. Charro beans and the molajete is amazing. You can never go wrong with carnitas either! I did have a quesadilla for there on my last visit and it was super cheesy! The curiosity were hot with a crunchy outside and soft inside.

On 4/10/25 I recently dined at this establishment and had a decent overall experience. The highlight of the visit was definitely the food the shrimp fajitas were flavorful and well-seasoned. However, I was surprised that they were served on a regular plate instead of the traditional sizzling cast iron skillet, which took away from the usual presentation and experience.
The service, unfortunately, was less than ideal at the start. It took quite a while for my order to be taken. I later learned that the waitress was temporarily unavailable because she was washing dishes, and another staff member a very polite and attentive gentleman stepped in to take over during her absence. His service was appreciated and helped smooth over the initial delay.
When the original waitress returned, it still took her longer than expected to check back in and take my order, even though I had been ready for quite some time. She seemed preoccupied with other tables, which impacted the overall attentiveness I received.
The restaurant itself could benefit from some updates. While the traditional, older Mexican-style ambiance adds a certain charm, the furniture particularly the tables are quite unstable. The wobbly tables made dining somewhat uncomfortable, as any movement caused the entire table to shake.
Despite the drawbacks, the quality of the food made up for some of the service and atmosphere issues. With a few improvements to service efficiency and a bit of modernization to the interior, this place has the potential to offer a much more enjoyable dining experience.

This restaurant is my new go to for mexican carne asada. I think I’ve finally tasted the best carne asada ever. I ordered the Faijtas with steak chicken and shrimp and a peach margarita. The steak was so tender and flavorful. I would come back just for that. Whomever was in that kitchen seasoning that beef needs a raise of . You know what now that I think about it Just visit but don’t order the steak. Please leave some for me.

This place is highly rated for a reason! This is some of the best salsa I’ve ever had. Not too spicy or weak. I recommend the pollo rajas. So creamy, tender, and delicious. My husband got the pollo con mole and they accommodated his request to up the spiciness. He cleaned the plate! Everything came out hot and in good time. Our waitress, Gladys, was super helpful and attentive. Nothing lasted long enough for pictures!

This place is wonderful. The food had really good size portions. It was very good and we were so excited that they were dog friendly for our trips. This will be our future lunch stop when traveling to see family and friends. Family of 6 $106 and we were stuffed. I would highly recommend!

This restaurant is “Mexican” adjacent. Like if your European grandma, who was a great cook but never heard of Mexico made a dinner you described. No seasonings, canned and watered down salsas. Inattentive service and no idea what the food should actually taste like. Don’t get me wrong the food quality was fine and it was all edible. But a far cry from being anything but basic not Mexican flavors.
